  1. LOL!!! BTW, I did get in for TRCC, never said I didn't to the poster below.
  2. I don't think anyone going in the program should think they're better until they have that RN behind there name. Good luck to us all in the program!
  3. Your second choice school must exhaust their waiting list before you get a seat. Also, just because someone who has a 2.8 doesn't mean they won't pass the program. They may have had issues in personal or work life that interfered. Not everyone can just go to school full time. Doesn't mean they'll be any less of a nurse than someone with a 4.0. I recommend you lose that thinking, or you may rub other students in your program the wrong way. My friend is finishing up her first semester at TRCC, and a girl was dismissed from clinical who had a 4.0, but had no clue how to deal with a patient when an emergency arose on the floor with the patient. I have been a CNA in the ICU for 4 years, I'd rather have a nurse who passed school with more common sense than a 4.0 nurse who doesn't have a flipping clue.
  4. Waitlist is random for how they give you a number, LOL.
  5. If you are taking A&P2 within the CTCCC System, you do NOT need to submit a transcript, it is in there system. You're seat is contingent upon finishing A&P2 successfully. Your orientation won't be until after A&P anyway, I believe.
  6. I'm on the phone app, so my responses are all messed up. I meant you have to accept your seat for your major to change!
  7. Meaning you have to accept your spot. You have to pay for classes, LOL.
  8. I don't believe it changes until you pay to reserve your spot.
  9. Gotta love the different response from each school, lol.
  10. Lets hope today: ). Maybe delay because of holiday.
  11. I swear it we knew by this time last year, am I wrong? All I remember is I found out the link was up from people on here, and I checked around 3-4ish when I got home, so no idea when it actually went up.
  12. The communication at these schools sucks!!!
  13. Bummer. Well, the only up side is, you can claim that amount either way on your taxes! :-)
  14. Be happy you have one acceptance letter! Some people on here only have one choice....
  15. My best friend got in the first time, as have many people. Think positive......
  16. It was around 4, because I remember reading it on here, went and checked, and I had been home from work for a little bit. I'm guessing tomorrow, I think it was that day last year, but I can't remember?
  17. I wish you luck, third times the charm!! We're moving, so I'm sure I will get in this time, because that's how life works, LOL. Irony. Good luck :)
  18. Have you tried New England Tech? I know a few girls going there who didn't get in at Three Rivers, no waitlist, 18 month program, just take a placement test. No idea how the program is, since it requires no pre-req's.......but two girls I used to work with graduated there and are working RN's now. VERY expensive though.
  19. I personally would never apply to a diploma program, especially since hard enough for ADN's to get a job, BUT I have heard that the earlier you apply to BHSN, the better chance you have.
  20. It's most likely going to be this week. Calling Hartford won't get you an answer as to if you were accepted. Have patience and wait!
  21. When the link opens, it says whether you are accepted or waitlisted. If accepted, then you can print what you need. If waitlisted, it will tell you the letter with your number will be mailed.
  22. I got to see my waitlisted decision before an email!
