Hi everyone. I havent been on for a while but have constantly been checking my solar and to my disappointment i recieved this email this morning from hsc. The School of Nursing has needed additional time for admissions processes and requests that you check your emails in mid-May for notification of decision information. *We apologize for the inconvenience and sincerely appreciate your patience as application review continues. *Thank you.

Hi ichews. If you are looking to apply for fall 2013 you have to take the prerequisites this year. You should look into going to an information session also it's very insightful as to what they are looking for and what is expected of you as a student. Also don't be scared of the sciences. Chemistry terrified me at one point but I took it and ended up with an A. You'll do fine. Every nursing program is competitive and as far as being lenient with grades, during the info session the speaker stated although they are important they take many other factors into consideration. You don't have to be a sraight A student to get in.

If you hit main menu you will see the quick links tab. I just noticed it and was wondering if it meant anything. When I click on it student financial services, off campus housing, dining services etc show up.

Has anyone noticed the quick links tab on their solar page?

Me too. I'm totally obsessed with solar. Finally I gave up and contacted hsc via email as to when we would hear from them. I was told decisions would come out mid-April. This wait is killing me! Does anyone know exactly what changes you will see on solar when accepted?
