  1. i really can't remember.. maybe around 35 questions. i went to an interview event they had, with maybe about 50 people, and as long as you passed you had an interview. so i'm not sure what would happen in your case.
  2. Make sure you know digoxin, insulin, med calculations.. it wasn't too difficult i wouldn't stress. just briefly go over drug classes and you'll be ok. you need an 80 to pass. also, i'm pretty sure if you dial 0 when the menu options come up you'll be able to speak to someone in HR. hope this helps, good luck!
  3. Nope, I haven't gotten anything yet.. hopefully tomorrow. She said it was just a general pharm exam but I'm still nervous

  10. So, I found a number to call to apply for positions to try to get in touch with someone. She told me there is no way to follow up with someone and you will be called if they are interested in you. She said she they just recently took the position off the website, so they are going through all of the applications now. They haven't started interviewing yet so she said not to worry that we haven't heard back.
  11. I graduated in May..passed the nclex last month and I've applied to pretty much everywhere on LI/NYC for the past 5 weeks or so. What about you?

  16. was anyone accepted for the orientation that was supposed to start july 17th?
  17. Hi everyone, I graduated this past May and passed my boards last month. I was offered a position at a very good hospital - and I was excited and accepted immediately. Unfortunately, after weeks of going back and forth with the recruiter.. I was just told the position will not be available until at least the end of the year. So, for a few weeks, I have been trying to look for jobs, and I feel very behind, especially since many new graduate opportunities are now closed. I did have an offer at another hospital, but declined due to the other job I accepted that has now screwed me over. I graduated with a 3.9, I volunteered, had an internship, as well as worked as a nurse's aide at the local hospital. I think I have a reputable resume.. but I cannot seem to get any interviews. any tips?
  18. Hi, I'm graduating in May and I applied to the Nurse Residency Program about a month ago. It is my first choice and I keep calling nursing recruitment to check the status of my application... but no one can tell me whether or not they've even gotten to my application or when they will. I don't want to lose hope! What did you ask when you called? Were they able to give you any information about your application? Thanks!
