  1. Thank you! I am aware that HUP is a teaching hospital and leader in research. HUP ICUs has a lot of residents and fellows, so I was wondering how does the NP fit in.
  2. Perhaps someone could provide a sensible response even a bedside nurse who works at HUP Neuro ICU could lend some insight.
  3. What is a usual day for an ACNP working in the Neuro ICU at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP)?
  4. I am newly grad RN with a BSN... they were hiring new grads just a few weeks ago, so I don't know what happen... you could try volunteering there just to get your foot in the door... with regards to salary, it remain unclear and as mentioned, I meet with them next week to finalize everything...
  5. Ok… I am scheduled to work on nights and meet with HR Rep to finalize paper work, so I will explore further… my understanding is that base salary is 76k w/BSN and night differential is about 5k, which is a total of 81K, not 87K as you proposed… unless I am missing something…
  6. I must be missing something because I interviewed there recently. The starting salary for newly grads with a BSN is 76K - this is what I was told by the HR Rep that interviewed me…
  7. Just curious on what is the base salary for New York Methodist Hospital would be for a new RN.
  8. For those interested in taking A&P online, I suggest exploring online classese at Cayuga Community College. Good luck!
