  1. I have posted this question before, with very little response, I am a nursing student who has a couple of misdemeanors on my record from back in 1995, I was 19 at the time and now I am approaching 30 years old! The charges where shoplifting and a bounce check, has anyone ever been denyied a lisence because of this!! I am very concerned because I have worked very hard to get where I am and have totally turned my life around! I have to file a declaratory order, but this has my nerves all up on ends.. Any response would be sooo appreciated.. if anyone has any info on the matter, by the way I live in Tx.. thanks
  2. Hello everyone, i need some advice.. I am starting nursing school In January, and back in 1995 and 1997 i have some misdemeanor charges, one for a bounced check the other was for shoplifting.. those are the only charges and i was 19 at the time, and Im really freaked out about not being liscensure eligable!! I have worked so hard to get to where I am and I would just die if they denied me my liscene. Has anything like this happened to anyone out their and what was the outcome, i am seriously loosing sleep over this, and my stomach is in nots just thinking about it! I intend to be completely honest with the board and am going through Declaroratoy Process order .. well i havent gotten everything together yet!! Anyway... any advise would be so helpful and especially if anyone has ever dealt with this before!!
