hi! i am starting in september. i'm really looking forward to meeting everyone. i'd like to eventually do peds. hope everyone is enjoying the rest of their summer!

so here is some food for thought...i took mercy on the 14th, and then shadyside on the 21st. same exact test. got my mercy tests results in the mail on tuesday, and i BOMBED them. terrible terrible terrible. i was horrified. of course i assumed shadyside would be about the same and to start thinking of other avenues. well. i got a message wednesday from shadyside that my results were in and i did great and to get my application going. i got the results in the mail today and somehow score 50% higher on math and 60% higher on verbal. no joke. i don't know what happened or how, but at least i passed one!!

i took mercy on the 14th, and shadyside on the 21st...in case anyone is doing the same, please be aware that they were the exact same test. i thought they would be completely different versions and was shocked when i sat down at shadyside and realized it was identical. on another note, i am so anxious waiting for my mercy results...it will be 2 weeks tomorrow and i am getting very impatient!!!

waiting is the worst!! i thought i felt stressed/worried before the test, it didn't even compare to after!! i'm glad you answered though, i definitely was concerned when she told us to guess if we didn't know the answer. they said 1-2 weeks for results.

Took my PSB test today. So stressed out about it!! The proctor was confusing, at the beginning she told the group that you were better off making an educated guess than leaving it blank, but at the end said that you are only scored on the questions you answered, and no points are deducted for not finishing. Can anyone clarify this for me? I wasn't able to finish the first section (verbal/math) or the reading comprehension part!

I'm taking the test this Saturday. The woman I spoke to at Mercy said that usually anything post April gets pushed to the following class, so hopefully I will do well on the test and be good to go. I am getting nervous about the test...How heavy science is it? Is it general stuff?
