  1. Did you try to get on through the link that was posted by Shan_Nurse?
  2. You guys!! I can log on to Blazernet! It shows me as a graduate student for NP!! Yes!
  3. Today was such a happy day until I read this! Lol! So being able to create the ID means nothing?! Great! I wish the decision was already made...I'm about to start a new job and I probably will not get the days off off if they keep drawing this out. The reason that everyone wants to apply is that the program is wonderful, from what I hear, and the offering of specialties...but it seems that this whole teeter-totter waiting game has gone on every..single...application period. I guess waiting is not all bad, I am truly in need of a patience lesson.
  4. I have also applied for the FNP track. I have been hawking this thread since the first comment about setting up a student ID! Lol! Hopefully the fact of means something good!
  5. I just cleared it out! Sorry about that...
  6. I wanted to revive this thread for the new nursing students entering this Fall 2012! Don't be shy...we are all going to be in the same boat shortly! Orientation is this Thursday and I wanted to see what everyone is doing to prepare for this upcoming semester.
  7. I have a previous bachelors in Mass Communications and I just got accepted into an ASN program with a previous GPA of 3.1...you just have to know what each school is looking for. I have only one semester of pre reqs under my belt but you just have to go for it. When I finished high school I went to a community college of my parent's choice and so my GPA is kind of low after you add that in but I still gave it a try and I was accepted after first being on a wait list for the first round of acceptance...one month later, here I am and I start in the Fall! Good luck to you!
  8. I bought the flashcards and I started a Quizlet account. Both proved to be very helpful. I work full time so I didn't really have the time to make my own. Check out the Quizlet websiteand then download a free complimentary app to your phone or iPod and there you go! Hope this helps...
  9. I will do just that too! As soon as I find out...I will let you know. I haven't had Chemistry since 10th grade! Not looking forward to it...not at all. Good luck to you too!
  10. Ok then. My other labs were not! I will have to try to make a way to get a B and maintain it then. Are you at Troy Montgomery? I still need to take Chemistry, A & P 2 and Micro...
  11. I am at AUM right now. I appreciate it but I will pull through. Hopefully...lol! I better if I want to apply to the nursing sequence! The lab is harder than the lecture...never heard of that!
  12. I second that. I wanted to call up there Friday and ask how many applicants had applied! I'm pretty sure they would not have said though. I'm just so ready to know already so I can focus on my studies wholeheartedly..I have an A in Statistics, a B in A & P and an A in Nutrition...the lab is looking iffy right now. A C...I think.
  13. If they really are about the time then they should go out this upcoming week. I only need A & P 1 and the lab and I am taking those now.
  14. Yes! Fingers crossed..100 in but only 50-60 in the actual nursing sequence. I am taking pre-requisites right now to try to get into the clinical sequence in the Fall. I wish I knew how many too...hopefully it's only 60!! Lol!
  15. The deadline has passed...I wonder how long it will take to get the letters. They should probably be out within the next couple of weeks or so. I wonder how many applicants have applied...
