  1. That's not necessarily a bad thing.
  2. Yep. It says "waitlist".
  3. I kept hitting refresh on mywings. It posted about a half hour ago.
  4. Waitlisted...oh well. Keep hope alive.
  5. I will be wearing out the refresh button on my computer. I'll be happy if it says anything but "denied" again.
  6. Oh boy! They said they have a list and the letters should be sent out today 6/25. Check out their facebook page.
  7. I'm pretty sure UNF's nursing program is fairly regimented. From what I heard, the classes are during the day.
  8. I'm trying to be a good sport about this, but it is really hard.
  9. It occurs to me, my fellow regular track candidates who have been turned down, that applying for the program during the summer is an exercise in futility. They offer both the accelerated AND the regular tracks during the summer, but if someone fails to get into the accelerated program, they are automatically offered a position in the regular track. This puts us at a serious disadvantage; people applying for the accelerated track get two chances to fail or succeed, if you will. As far as I can tell, there is no accelerated program offered in the fall. After taking stock in my current situation, I have rededicated myself to getting in this fall.
  10. I'd be interested to know if anyone's says anything but "deny". As for the cost, I'm not too concerned. I have the Post-9/11 GI Bill. I just don't want to go to a school that isn't all that selective about the caliber of students they let in.
  11. I'm sorry to hear that samiam856. I'm definitely looking into JU and possibly going back to FSCJ for their AS degree.
  12. Mine said "departmental referral" this morning. Now it just says "deny".
  13. I don't plan on giving up. I may just have to look elsewhere. I'd really hate to have to go somewhere like Chamberlain, though.
  14. Yes. I looked at my application status and it was there in bright bold letters lol. Couldn't they have used a less imposing color?
  15. Eeh. I'm a realist. I knew I had a snowball's chance in Hawaii. I just wish I picked a better fall back than nutrition.
  16. Denied. Ouch. Maybe I got wait listed or something.
  17. It was hard to tell, but I think everyone in my group had a bachelors degree already, so they were at least in their mid 20s. I did see one lady that was in her 40s or 50s. I wouldn't worry about it too much, though. I'm pretty sure they can't discriminate based on age.
  18. Well I have to say your daughter is brilliant! If it weren't for her, our entire table would be lost. If she is any indication, you definitely got in. As for the interview, I was trying to be calm and relaxed, but I don't think that's how I was portraying myself. I think I was concentrating too much on my next response. I had to have dropped the "veteran" bomb a dozen times, though. Hopefully they take that into consideration.
  19. roemerr, are you Maria's mother? I'm her lab partner at FSCJ. She mentioned you would be interviewing as well. Good luck! I hope you get in. My interview was at 11:30 (group 6). I don't think I did too well.
