Oh! Aelith ....i dont expect you to intertained my post...free world and this forum is my medium of expression. Nurses without experience can go and work overseas? why not! They can easily make any documents in "RECTO"(Diploma mill) a place in Manila who manufactures certificates,transcipts of records and diploma.BUT....based on my experience? Singapore,staff nurse less than 2 years experience can work as Healthcare assistant,assistant nurse,or carer? likewise in the UK. Now thats what you call career pathway for success. Filipinos are desperate..fact! they will grab any single opportunity to go overseas.That will lead them into dissapointments,and shame towards thier countrymen.Teachers who becomes domestic Helper,Nurses who struggles to find success ending up working elsewhere as prostitutes and sorts. If fortunate enough to go overseas and find a job? they are pathetic in the clinical areas? dumb ass ,who think they have sorts of qualification they think they can managed? Yes ! you can register to any Nursing Council or state board in US, Think!! this Filipino Nurses? in the UK stringent immigration policies prohibits you from coming? The biggest employer NHS will not attract candidates that needs work permits? but how could have work visa if Immigration doesnt qualify you to have one?Chances Filipino Nurses are subject for abuse!! as i said they will grab any single opportunity there is...so most of them will only be a carer in the run down nursing homes,now thats what i call determination? (hopeless!!):bowingpur Communication problems are likely the problem of this nurses in the UK or US...its a fact. So my OPINION is....Nurses from Philippines who are desperately wants to go overseas without experience? way too GULLIBLE!

so what if your RN in Philippines and a have a degree? Its useless that in Australia and New eland US and UK....wake up!!!! cant you see? all of you have to undergo some sort of supervised placement or induction programme to supplement that Degree you think its precious! ...UK,US,NZ canada is not a refugee centre to all of you of having difficulty in finding a job in the Philippines ok? Ask your president why there isnt enough job available,? Its your problem...open your yes people!! tighthen immigration policies and employment opportunities its because of this anticipation of grand anticipation of migration especially Nurses from Philippines? ah! i forgot,mind spelling? if could only verbally harrassed you all! pathetic!!:argue:

This overconfidence and being so unrelevant...will only lead to dissapointment. The universal rule...train..gain experience...work and progress!!! why pople having difficulty in understanding this premise???? You all want easy road to success...even Britney Spears undergone a number of rough ride towards her stardom...and you?....without something to contribute to wherever health facility your aiming???? this is lack of common sence.Very DESPEARATE! Now call me hater!!! but the truth hurts ? Even President Gloria Arroyo...lobbying to some countries for economic opportunity...? why encourage this Nurses to stay put and make a difference for every Filipino and served the whole country? I understand how you all want to move overseas its because,its all about to become economically advantage? yes! its your choice...big time but without being prepared only leads to your misfortunes. I will keep posting this because its not a crime to view my opiniion and dont educate me for that matter because its not gonna work!!!

If your a Britishh Citizen,then technically you can work without restrictions in any EU countries. To be a nurse in Italy, contact NMC for current legislation when it comes to Nursing in EU countries as they have information to where you have to get in contsct with the relevat registration bodies of Italy. You have to speak italian for the record.

Fresh grad? think about this: experience 3 years NZ Registration IELTS 7 Supervise practiceAgency to represent you in finding a job! substantial abount of funds to sustained your quest. Have you all have this ...if not! stay back and work for it! abisyoso!!!

£7.76 maybe in the Nursing home. I worked as a Nurse in the UK for 9 years my basic salary is 12/hour? £25,800/annual. Recentlty naturalised,happy where i am now. Trevel in Europe is a breeze! with low cost far that everone can afford and $1.9 to a Dollar why should i bother to start all over again?

use your head nieruth ,you realised that your question is unrelevant.? who will hire a fresh graduate!! you are so desperate to work overseas? gain more experience before embarking yourself to work elsewhere. i do understand where you came from...but use your head? you need more amunuition to gotobattle isnt it???? isnnnnttttt!!????

It seem your so desperate in landing a job overseas? You need to have a significant clinical experience at least before embarking to work elsewhere.I am a filipino British,i graduated in the Philippines and i am proud who i am.I worked in Makati Medical Centre for 3 years,which i believed it is enough leverage for me to take on board any challenges in my overseas career.I have worked in Kuwait,Saudi,Singapore and now permanetly living here as UK citizen.Working as a Surveillance Nurse,a specialist post created by UK governement to combat HCAI.My role is Audit practice,Education and managing central line devices using the ANTT technigue.I would recommend to stay in Philippines a bit more,maybe 5 years and find a job that suits your speciality and work your way up.By the way,its doesnt affect your ability to land a job prospect becasue you graduated in top nursing schools...in overseas all are generic...so what ? all it matters how reality affects your performance in the work place.My co-worker is from Philippines too and from never heard school of nursing in Mindanao.The lady got guts and detrmination...she is our Nurse practitioner in critical care. In UAE everyone sits for local exam this is just to assess you as a nurse,everyone pass this test.As i have NMC registration in the UK,we dont need all this formalities to work. As you are self starter,your salary is half than those who are western qualified nurses...thats a bit dissapointing considering a nurse is a nurse no matter what background you are.Sad to say that UAE looks on your passport rather than qualification and skills...red tape!! I understand how difficult life in the Philippines,but you need extra effort and amunition for this difficult challenges you may face in your quest for a better life. Here in the UK life is not easy as what people may think..we pay Mortgage on our Houses,pay utility bills and loans,credit cards and car maintenance.UK is a haven for stealth taxes..we pay more tax than the rest of Europe.We lived in break -even life style.Sometimes we depends on our overdraft faciltiy in our current account..a bit tough!! this is reality...But at least the value of the pound is 1.9 to the dollar...with good savings,we can rush to atlantic(new York) maybe for a bit of shopping spree if you have extra money to spend. Stay in Philippines and learn more the trick ..earn enough valuable experience before moving overseas.I did and its worthwhile...no regrets! take from this experience! Goodluck!
