Hello everyone, Has anyone else applied to the MSN program at IUPUI? I applied but haven't heard anything yet!

I would love to get some updates on this as well. What do people say about working at Eskenazi?

Any updates since some of the changes have taken effect?

There's nothing new or strange about graduating from high school, going to college, and choosing nursing as a major. It's a major just like education, biology, social work or political science... Except you're probably more employable and you have a well-rounded education. And you don't have to go straight to grad school.

Anyone else out there with helpful info? What about IU hospital?

How is their hiring process? Is it difficult to get hired there if you have experience?

Hi! Does anyone have any information about what it's like to work at Vanderbilt? I am an experienced nurse considering a move. What are the weekend requirements? How is the tuition assistance? How does working here compare to other place? Thanks!

Hi Indy Nurses, I'm interested in working at Methodist Hospital. How does it compare to some of the other IU Health hospitals and other area hospitals? What are the requirements for weekends, etc? Does IU Health offer tuition assistance for graduate school? I have critical care experience. Thanks!

I'd like to know too. I'm thinking of applying when I graduate next year.

My friends will both graduate with a BSN. They haven't heard yet, but I'm excited to find out when people hear back about whether or not they got the job.

The people I know who got interviews are both very good students, and they have jobs working at a hospital. I'm not sure how that factored into it, but I'm sure it did somehow. I'm sure that they have good recommendations since they work in a hospital. Their school is also well known and as far as I know they had a good, diverse experience in their different clinical rotations. I know someone else who applied and didn't get called for an interview, and the only difference is that she doesn't have a hospital job right now. They are all great candidates, so in the end I'm not sure what their recruiter sees in some but not others!

They haven't interviewed yet, but they said they'll be interviewing with a panel of managers from the areas they preferenced.

I know of two people who have gotten interviews. They were called at the end of last week.

I would love to know how long it took for HR to respond as well!

Or, really, any kind of information about the hospital itself! I know that I want an academic medical center and I would love to get into critical care, though I know that's not always possible.

Hi IL Nurses: I will be graduating from college in May and want a job in Chicago! I would love one in the city but am also looking at Loyola. Does anyone know about their new grad program? I have heard that you rotate through 3 areas and pick your favorite in the end, but that is the extent of my knowledge. Any info (or advice) would be appreciated.
