kizeemimi- i am starting to freak a little too. i will admit that im nervous about the workload because i also work and i have very small children. but i think there would be something wrong with us if we werent at least a little bit worried!!

i also have 2 kids, ages 1 and 4. i will also be working midnights while in the program, most likely two 12 hour shifts per week. i will be studying on my breaks, and when it is slow at work. i know quite a few people that are in the program at occ now that are in similar situations and they are just fine. one girl even works full-time midnights and has kids. the key to everything i've been told is relentless discipline and time management. go in knowing you are going to be socially unavailable for 2 years and put the guilt aside. because once we are nurses, we will have solid, good paying jobs that we love and that by going through all of this, our familys lives will better as well. we have to make sure our spouses are 100 percent on board with picking up the slack at home and have plans a, b, AND c in check in regards to child care at the drop of a dime because they sometimes dont announce the clinical schedule until DAYS before it starts. WE CAN DO THIS !!! we have worked so hard to get in and i feel that the battle is half over. i'm glad that we're starting to introduce ourselves now because we will rely on each other alot come fall!!

hey guys- which fundamentals review book is this? is also heard that "fundamentals demystified" is a great one too.

i just called also and cutoff is officially 3.869. im unofficially in too!!!!!

im waiting too. so stressed i wont make it with a 3.932, but reading there are only 350 applicants makes me feel a little more hopeful. good luck to everyone!!
