Hello everyone! I remember being in you guys' situation not too long ago, asking everyone what their estimated points are, who got in && who didn't, having plan Bs & Cs && even Ds, but thats all over now because i got in the grossmont's nursing program!! It was such a great feeling, and then.. The semester started..we've only been in the program for three weeks and we've had three exams! Dosage calc. exam w/c u need to get a 100% on, pharm exam, and fundamentals which covered 13 chapters! We've covered 13 broad chapters in two weeks! Ridiculous! And on top of that we needed to learn all these skills! It's tough! But it so worth it because grossmont has a very good reputation wit san diego hospitals! Anyways, for the alternates, dont worry! U guys are more than likely to get in, some ppl are not gonna pass their background check, or some will choose another school over grossmont. So just hang in there!

Sam--yea, that would be another option! Thanks! lol. I was just thinking that itd be cheaper & more convenient if i stayed at a dorm cuz u know im not from the area & im a little scared! Lol. Cp--i called them about transfer students applying for a dorm, & its possible as long as u pay for the application fee & a downpayment of $300, i believe, within the due date.. But i dont want to apply & put down a downpayment unless im sure im in... But yea hopefully we all get accepted, & if we do, maybe we can be roommates! Oh and goodluck on the teas test! Im thinking about retaking mine since i only got 83% ugh.

I meant if both fresno & bakersfield official acceptance letter doesnt come out till late june/early july, then all dorm are gonna be occupied..

Samantha, there are programs that are much closer to where i live, one is SDSU, but i didnt apply cuz i have a C on one of my prereqs and they do not accept Cs on prereqs.. Next closest to me is CSUSM but i missed the app on that one.. Then CSULB and i didnt make the cut.. Bakersfield would be 3 hours away.. So im gonna need a dorm.. But im thinking if both fresno & bakersfield's official acceptance letter, all dorms are gonna be occupied, so i dont know what to do, if i do get accepted..&& i kinda have a feeling i will! LOL.

I don't really care where I get accepted, as long as its a BSN program, i mean location is gonna suck either way since im from san diego! It's gonna be hard to beat that. LOL. I called both fresno and Bakersfield, and they said that acceptance letter will come out first week of July & I feel like that is soooooooo late! I mean by then all the dorms are gonna be gone/occupied. So are u guys gonna just get an apartment?

I'm from San Diego, and I got accepted to one of the community college here for the ADN for Fall. But I also applied to CSULB, CSU fresno, and Bakersfield. I got all A's in my prerequisite except my anatomy, I got a C. This was when I wasn't really sure I wanted to do nursing, now, I regret it. Anyways, I called LB and the cut off point was a 9.1 for fall and I had a 8.9 so I didn't make it. My teas was a 83.. Ugh I really don't know why they wait so long to tell us if we're accepted or not.

Hello guys, I also applied for Fall 2013..what other schools did u guys apply to? and what are your stats?
