  1. @Christinaduncan could you tell me who you spoke to at the nursing school because every single time I called, including my friends, we were all told that they could not give ANY information about the wait list, as in how many we're waitlisted or where we were on the waitlist, I had spoke to a couple people and they acted like it was top secret information. I just think they should be fair and offer the Same info to everyone. Also when I called today the lady didn't ask where I was applying from or anything yet she told me that nothing had changed and all spots had been accepted for fall.. I'm confused on why they are telling us different info?
  2. The three or us wait listed had problems with them receiving our transcripts so none of us had been accepted to general admissions.. For spokane campus, congrats for being accepted! I know of one other girl who was accepted.
  3. 2 of my friends were wait listed as well I think we all feel we are in same boat, just keep waiting I want us all to be accepted. Pleasant P good luck being sent ur way!!
  4. Thank u so much Tristan! I really am trying to be happy that I was not denied but I'm still a little hurt of course, I hope so badly that I get that call, I wonder how many are placed on waiting list and how many get in normally, I'm trying to believe i still have a fighting chance!
  5. I was placed on the waiting list, I'm a little discouraged and not quite sure what to think, I'm constantly trying to analyze what was wrong I know my gpa was on the way lower end but I felt good about my interview. I think I just wait and see from here and hope that someone decides to go somewhere else. Im trying to think positive I've worked so hard to get this far I can't give up now. :) my letter came today in a small envelope
  6. Tristannicole I was reading some of your other posts and i saw that you got accepted the second time around, kudos to you for not giving up and for getting in! Did they tell you anything of why you may not have gotten in the first time? Like any advice on your interview or an explanation?
  7. Ok, so I called admissions and they had misplaced my transcripts, but they fixed it so now I just have to wait for them to review. I was worried. We were advised to not apply to wsu general admissions until we received the interview. So for me that was the end of march. Is it true that acceptance letters come in a big pack and denials are one small letter? Or is this just rumors? I'm am hopeful just nervous!
  8. Someone else I know said they received a general admission on Friday as well, and I haven't received one yet and applied a few weeks ago. I also asked my advisor when letters would be sent and she said they were hoping to send them in the next couple weeks... :/ I'm starting to get nervous now that maybe the people who are going to be accepted received their general admissions letters and those that are not wont be receiving one? I don't kno maybe I'm just over thinking but it makes me feel unsure...
  9. Where on the website did it say April 20th, just curious because someone else told me that as well but I can't find it, thanks :)
  10. Oh and I was sent an email a while back that said something about hearing back at the end of April or beginning of may. The wait will be so suspenseful!
  11. Pleasant P- I agree, they were so kind and seemed like they really wanted us to relax and be comfortable and ultimately just succeed and be in their program! Awe it was so awesome it just re assured me that I want to be there so badly, so like you, if I'm offered I will definitely be accepting. :) I am a student applying from Eastern, living in Spokane, what about you, are you currently in school and if so where? Yes, I'll admit when they asked the humanities course question I was totally thrown off guard I had to stop and try and remember what courses fall under humanities before I could answer the question and had a brain freeze for a second! Yikes, but it did come to me so I think I did well. It was definitely more laid back then I had pictured it in my head. I hope we both are accepted. If I am I kno I will be jumping for joy and celebrating like no other hehe
  12. My interview went really well they asked me questions like: 1. What was your favorite college course ever and why? 2. Why are the humanities courses important for your nursing career 3. What was a conflict you've faced and how did you solve it 3. Howl different cultures affect how people choose their healthcare 4. If you were writing a paper and two people weren't contributing how would u go about solving that problem. 5. Whats a way you got to be creative and how did you share that with others I'm writing this on an iPad so the formatting and all is messed up and I can't see what ive already typed so sorry if there are errors! :) I loved the facility it was amazing it made me want to go there even more!
  13. Thanks kasko! That helps a lot :)
  14. Kasko how was ur interview? Mine is next Saturday at 430 I'm so nervous! :)
  15. Redbee:)- I have an interview with wsu on the 7th so I made it past the first round there, if I am accepted then I will definitely be attending wsu. I am going to keep my waitlisted spot until the end of April when we find out about wsu, if I get in I will let them know promptly to take me off the list. It's a hard reality to not get a spot right away and to still not know if we will be starting nursing programs in the fall... Makes everything extra nerve racking! Congrats on getting on the waitlist as well, I wish we knew more details about it (how many exactly are on waitlist) and if they are ranked it would be nice to know how far down the list we are. :) good luck with everything!
