Interview for internal Oncology Nurse Position
I just received a call that I have an interview for a day shift oncology flr. that I applied for internally. My oncology nurses do I know what kind of questions I can expect? I’m nervous because I really want this position. I currently work on a med/surg oncology floor with only pts with oncology history. Any tips are appreciated. My interview is tomorrow.

Vivitrol shots: Troubleshooting
Also with the Vivitrol after it is mixed, make sure u change the needle after u draw it up to a fresh one. I know sometimes it's hard to mix the contents up in the vials. And it also helps if u warm vials up in hands before drawing up. Hope this helps!

ATI EXIT EXAM
I took both because I didn't pass it the first time. I took the 2010 b the first time and 2013a the second. Like I said no different than the first, meaning not harder.

ATI EXIT EXAM
The tests are similar just updated questions, u might see a couple of the same questions but they are not necessarily harder. Ur gonna b ok with those books because a friend of mine gave me those same books and I was fine. Content is content, that kinda stuff don't change. Hope u do great on the test, bless u good luck!

Just failed NCLEX-RN for the 2nd time
I'm writing this post because I really need help on what I should do to pass the boards the 3rd time and also to let people who are in the same boat as me to not give up! I took the boards for the 1st time on 3/12/14 and got all 265q's and failed. I used virtual ATI, Kaplan and some Saunders and I was like a mad woman, I did like 150 questions a day, tried to get content in, prayed, for like 6-8 hours a day, and on some days it felt like my brain was fried. I just couldn't fit anymore info in there but I kept at it and that was not enough. When I failed I realized that it was just not my time yet to be a RN. So while waiting my 45 days, I continued to pray to God that I would do better but not the same, that I would try different. For the 2nd time, I wrote out a calender this time and started with the content that I was lacking in first, I had the feuer mp3's that I listened to and compared it with my Saunders book to get as much info as I could. I wrote it all down. I was able to still do virtual ATI and Kaplan again since I failed. The Kaplan online course was good because of the teacher we had and I had good scores on the qtrainers q4-61, q5-71, q6-66, q7-58. My test was this past Saturday 5/17/14. I felt ready, I wasn't nervous, I was motivated, I prayed to God to be with me and guide me trough this test. I took it this time and it cut off at 180q's and I thought for sure that I passed(thinking I had more content knowledge and less questions) I felt very good within myself. I did the PVT and when it was time to click to go on to the next page I exited the screen, I waited 24hours and searched my name and....nothing. I realized that I indeed failed again. I was crying so hard all Sunday but then realized that I just have to do again until I pass. I have wanted this all my life and even though I didn't get it on that day doesn't mean that it's not for me. I'm determined to pass the 3rd time around! I just don't know where to start this time, I have the Hurst Review audio and the papers to fill out, and I was thinking of doing the NCSBN for the 5 week course. I just wanted to know if anyone could help shed some light. Any recommendation will help tremendously! I am not going to give up and I don't want nobody else to give up either, we worked too hard to finish Nursing school and this NCLEX is just a small obstacle in the way of me becoming a RN, but with God I have the strength and power to move it out of the way! I know this was wordy, I tried to separate it for an easier read. Thank you in advance for whatever help you can give, God Bless!

KAPLAN scores and passing NCLEX 2014
I love your post, I too took the NCLEX with 265 questions and failed but I didn't give up, didn't dwell on it, I picked myself up and instead of studying the same way as before, I studied different and allowed myself to let the question sink in fully and understand what it is asking me. I was in the same boat as far as using Kaplan the 1st time, I was so frustrated that over 60% I would turn it off and not try to do no more questions until later that day. So it definitely is a learning process, I have continued Faith that God will get me through, I realized that it just wasn't my time before, but it is my season now! God bless you!!!!

ATI EXIT EXAM
The test is so random, it's hard to pinpoint exactly what u need to know. U will have to know it all, I took the 2010 & 2013 version. If u have access to the practice comprehensive test, I say take that, it should help also take all the other practice test as well.
-
ATI EXIT EXAM
The 2010 version is what we've been using throughout nursing school, so I'm guessing they won't switch to the 2013 version for the predictor. Thank u, that is helpful to know that some if these questions come up again. Did u study for it when u took it out did u just do the practice tests?
-
ATI EXIT EXAM
Wow, thanks a bunch, our school never even told us there was a practice exam that they can open...this is news to me! That would've helped us tremendously!
-
ATI EXIT EXAM
Thank u very much...glad to get that 180 question thing verified...I think our class should b fine!
-
ATI EXIT EXAM
Ok, that sounds good, I think I'm doing too much overthinking about this test, three great thing is, if we don't pass this time e can take it again on 12/13 n still graduate. So we'll c how it goes!

ATI EXIT EXAM
Yes that's what I mean...we had the ati live review all last week our predictor is at the end of this week. Just didn't know what to expect, how many questions, etc...was it similar to the practice questions that we have been doing since the beginning. Those kinds of things...thanks also for replying so fast too
-
ATI EXIT EXAM
When it was explained to us they said we had to b in the 98th percentile, meaning we had to probably get around 77-80 individually. Not a 98% individually.
