NYP Interview "Day"?
Has anyone every participated in an interview "day" at NewYork-Presbyterian? I am pretty sure that there will be group panel interviews and group activities, but just a little nervous as I've never interviewed with a group before.

Thank you for the private message, I tried to message you back with some questions but sadly I can't PM anyone until I have posted at least 15 times (currently at 13, working my way up haha). I'll try to PM you later today!

Also - when they ask for three professional references, two of mine are clinical instructors. These would be considered references correct?

PICU- Cornell interview
I actually have an interview next week at NYP WC.They are requiring that I bring a million documents and pages of references, previous addresses, and employment history from the past ten years of my life, recommendation letters, transcripts, etc. How did you prepare for your interview? I was told that I am meeting with a recruitment coordinator, senior recruiter, and other staff in the department I am interviewing in. How did your interview go with the recruiters? What questions did they ask? Apparently my interview is 9 AM - 5 PM. I'm a nervous wreck! Sorry for all the questions!

Do you know if they call your current managers as well? I did not put my manager as a reference because she doesn't really know me as well as some of the floor nurses that I've worked with. I feel as if she wouldn't have anything super exciting to say. Do you know if your current manager was contacted?

NYP ED Residency
Hey! I know this has been a while, but I was just wondering how everything had went! Did you get the job? I just had a phone interview for this a few days ago and I don't think it went well at all. I was so nervous! Plus they asked for my GPA and if I had any emergency room experience, and my GPA wasn't that great and I had barely any experience in the emergency room. So I'm trying not to get to hopeful for a second interview. Just wondering though how it worked out for you.

I had applied for an emergency position, so we will see how that goes. I heard that it is very competitive so I'm trying not to get my hopes up. Also, if it has been over two weeks since the interview, it wouldn't hurt to just call to see how things are going!

@Tootie88, Thanks! I don't see any NCI postings right now on their website, I guess I'll just have to keep checking back

Have you been given an offer in writing yet? Perhaps you can request it from HR? Congrats though and good luck! I recently had a phone interview with someone from NYP Cornell and I don't think it went well at all, I was a nervous wreck and the phone interview itself only lasted maybe 5 - 6 minutes. Hopefully I will hear back soon.

@tootie88, I do not see any current openings for new graduates on their career website. Do you know if there is anything else that I can possibly do to apply as a new graduate?
