  1. Sorry this happen to you guys. I'm just a pre-nursing student, but I don't think the nurse has the authority to say this, unless the doctor mentioned it to you guys. I may be wrong, but it's sad to see nurses with this type of attitude-thank God not all of them are like this. Was this in NY?
  2. Hello, My GPA is not the greatest. I am a returning student (after being out of school 20 + years). I have all my pre reqs "C" in A&P I, "A" in A&P II, "D" in Microbiology and I am retaking it . I was going to get a "C", but I didn't want that to lower my GPA even more, so I made myself get a "D". Now I'm not sure if that was the right thing to do. My passion is to become a RN, I love helping people out, but i am afraid that I won't get accepted to the program. Does anyone have a similar story? Did you get accepted? Since I have my prereqs, the only thing I can see doing to better my chances is scoring a high score on the entrance exam. A bit discouraged because I am competing with people that have great GPA's. My GPA is sadly a 2.5 I wish I could turn back time and take school seriously.
