I applied to NYU, Beth Israel, Mt. Sinai, and NYP and NYP was the only one I heard back from. Had a phone interview and got invited to interview in person. Haven't heard from any of the others though.
I'm flying out this weekend to interview in person! The HR phone interview was not that bad - the questions they asked were pretty much the ones mentioned above: why this unit? describe a time something went wrong and what you did to correct it? why did you choose nursing? etc. I'm pretty nervous about the in person interview though. If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated!
Hello all! I applied for a couple of externships throughout the United States this summer and I've currently been invited to interview in person for two (Northwestern Memorial in Chicago and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia). I was wondering if anyone had any advice about how to prepare for the interview, specifically since these are most likely going to be panel style with multiple interviewers. I've interviewed for jobs before, just never for an hour with multiple people! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
