I applied in November and interviewed with 8 camps. I kept a list and compared what they offered. What made my decision was the fact that there is a doctor on site, a structured routine for the nurses (compared to having 2 nurses that were on duty 24/7), and a great benefit/pay structure. One camp wanted the tuition to be the only pay I received, that would not work for me. For my daughter I wanted a camp that offered the activities she enjoys, a sense of community, and one that I could see her and be involved in camp activities. I hope to hear more about your decision. The camp websites are a great resource. I am going to Chestnut Lake, but Camp Wicosuta was at the top of my list also. I did not apply at any of the other camps on your list.
