  1. If you're using kaplan, check and see how many times you've changed your answers in the "analysis" tab for the kaplan questions you are reviewing. I found that I changed my answer ALOT from correct to incorrect. This actually helped me because whatever I clicked as my first answer I left it as it is and clicked next when i was taking my RN exam. Exam cram actually said in their little 2 page review to make an educated guess or pick "C." I actually did that a few times when I was taking my exam because I had narrowed down my answer to 2 choices which included C, so I picked C...lol kinda bad but guess it worked for me.
  2. oh also I forgot to mention, I passed with 80-85 questions
  3. I only used kaplan and i passed =) My school had a deal with kaplan in which we paid $175 each semester depending on if we got did or did not get over 800 on the hesis from the previous semester. those of us who did had a choice of paying for kaplan during school to help with studies. It started when I was in my last semester so for me, I paid the optional $175 for the semester and then an additional $175 after the semester started for the actual NCLEX material. We got 7 physical kaplan questions in which we did questions everyday and practiced Kaplan strategies with a professor and then we got all the online material, Qbank, Qtrainer and NCLEX prep exams. I did all questions from the Qbank, Qtrainer and NCLEX prep exam that kaplan had to offer and I passed the exam on my first try. Hope this helps.
  4. I graduated Dec 2011 and took my NCLEX on 3/10/12 and passed =) I would have probably took it earlier but I also work 3 days a week so I gave myself the other 4 days in the week to study (in which I did like 50 qbank questions a day) I only used kaplan to study with and i did every single question. Good luck to you! =)
