  1. If you are paid per visit, what is the average rate? Just a ballpark figure??
  2. I am wondering about hospice(non facility) RNs. Do they get an hourly wage ON TOP of the per visit pay and the gas mileage compensation?
  3. I'm curious if it would be grounds for drug screen failure if they happened to ask for proof when the tooth was was pulled (say it was 2 years ago)? Or are you okay for an indefinite amount of time for any prescription as long as its in your name?
  4. Which floor would be more overwhelming for a new graduate RN?
  5. Contacting HR does sound like a good plan!
  6. I am a new grad RN BSN (not currently living in SC) and am starting to think no one is interested. Is the market that bad / oversaturated from the schools in the area?
  7. It does seem like it's all about who you know now in most areas . I really do not know anyone in Charleston, I am young and looking for a change and just love the Charleston area. Have you thought of getting a tech position at one of the hospitals just to "get into the system?" Best of luck to you
  8. I am a new graduate RN,BSN and I'm wondering if it is crazy to think about moving to a city (that is oversaturated with new grad RNs) with no job prospect. I'm currently in Houston and want to settle down in Charleston, SC! I have a feeling that the fact that these hospitals know that I do not live in the area may be part of the reason I am not getting any callbacks, although I'm aware being a new grad with no experience doesn't help either . Money is not a huge concern - I can afford to be unemployed for a few months if it comes to that. Has anybody done anything similar?
