Flu Vaccines. A Hassle?
...Please give me longitudinal studies on those that have gotten flu shots for a lifespan of career, say 10-20 years conservatively. I think I'll let you be that guinea pig. :) I'm sorry, but the right to autonomy is a fundamental human right. Shame on you if you feel different. I guess I'm reduced to just watching, observing ..and sticking my thumb up my orifice .

Flu Vaccines. A Hassle?
last time I got a flu shot, my whole body was shaking....I tried to tell myself there no risk. No danger *just breathe* .....just another panic attack ..I'm being unreasonable....... Why is this bothering me? Am I having a panic attack ? "breathe" ... I can do this ...it's just a shot right? Why am I being such a baby? STOP being such a baby and suck it up!! The nurse puts the needle into my arm and I try to say nothing ....act like it's no big deal I come home and lay down. I think I'm going to be okay...I kinda have to be. I'm shaking .....and I start to cry . I thought I was okay with this ...what's wrong with me? shaking .....everything is just shaking right now .... Having any form of medical treatment against your will is wrong. NO body has the right to tell you what to think or feel .....

Flu Vaccines. A Hassle?
There's an alternate universe, where profit driven businesses put the health and welfare of their consumers first. Bullcrap Mountain. I don't support any anti-vaccine sites. In fact, I refrained myself from sending a horrible message to a site that I really wanted to support. They have over 17,000 followers. I looked at the research they had linked and it was a survey of 25 nurses. I WAS LIVID. I think you and I have had more intelligent debate than that. I should be making millions .....

Flu Vaccines. A Hassle?
That's a fair assessment for of someone who doesn't expect their care to depend on the fact that they are working for a "Business". I worked as a manager for a major corporation so I suppose I project some of that. I don't ever want to treat someone as monetary value or expendable again.

Flu Vaccines. A Hassle?
Well since, the business community utilizes peer-reviewed scientific evidence that often relies on mathematics it is highly unlikely that any educated business person would confuse causation, coincidence, and plausible deniability as like terms. I sincerely hope you retract that statement, as I will vehemently oppose you. (What pharmaceutical company do you work for anyway? ) *oops* your Narcissism is showing

Why is Burznski doing trials right now? After decades of false legal trials, they had to let him go. His name defamed, over patent rights. He was investigated to the fullest and yet he's still doing his thing. I'm sure they're just waiting for him to die ...he's pretty old. I would love to work for him .- Vaccine Conspiracy Theorists More Likely To See Conspiracy Everywhere

I can't take anything seriously until they take Mr Burzynski seriously...and if you would really like to know , the lengths the conspiracy ,,,,, You are the naive one. You seem to be naive to politics .....and how powerful the powers that be are.- Vaccine Conspiracy Theorists More Likely To See Conspiracy Everywhere
No worries about me though ...I hope to work with my people ..Native Americans. Did you know the government confessed to a mass sterilization program in the 80's via a vaccine program? Just to be facetious- Vaccine Conspiracy Theorists More Likely To See Conspiracy Everywhere
I'm sorry I haven't had the steam. I wanted to draw up a good argument because I think many who are afraid of vaccines are too scared to state the exact reasons and fears. I wanted to bring the elements together in a forum where people could see both sides of the issue. I have learned quite much from you, and I thank you for that. I'm just sorry I feel short on my side of the debate. There are studies on both sides and you haven't exactly addressed those studies. You obviously are much more educated than me, as I am a nursing student. As you can tell, I love debate and I don't think my interest in politics hinders me, in fact it has propelled me. It keeps me thinking and I look deeper into many more subjects than most people would because it keeps me searching for answers and truths. It takes a good collective of different minds my friend. :)- Vaccine Conspiracy Theorists More Likely To See Conspiracy Everywhere
I have not had the time to investigate my personal anecdote as to why my titers would require me to undergo all childhood vaccination again. All I can say is that there is really nothing you or anyone else can post to explain that. I'm sure there are NO studies on it, other than the ones I posted. Go take a blood titer and let me know the results. I'm initiating a study here. I'm sure you could get a blood titer if you requested. But to answer your question on the "anti-vaccine" page. Alex Jones is the biggest fear mongering conspiracy theorists out there. It gets really juicy when he talks about vaccines micro-chipping people. We can agree to disagree for now.- Vaccine Conspiracy Theorists More Likely To See Conspiracy Everywhere
Those blood tests and Titers ...were true. If you wanna prove me wrong, or do a good experiment ....lets see how many people pass a titer . Something tells me you'll push for more vaccines ....- Vaccine Conspiracy Theorists More Likely To See Conspiracy Everywhere
Thank you. Yes I have taken quite a bit of time to read through the forums and explore this issue a little further. Although I'm sure I could sepnd months/years digging through everything. Here's just a few things I wanted to point out. I want to start off with my personal concern on the amount of vaccines given so I'll begin with a personal anectdote. Long story short, I had all of my childhood vaccinations. I didn't have the chicken pox though because It wasn't part of the regimen then, but I DID have chicken pox. For reasons I won't divulge now, I didn't have access to those records and had to go and get a blood titer. I have read from the CDC site that blood titers may not be sensitized enough, but it did make me wonder about how titers fit into the vaccine scheduling. I haven't found that answer yet, but I did find interesting study. America May Over-vaccinate, According To New Research -- ScienceDaily Another point to make on this, is why do we have double to triple the amount of vaccines than most countries? I have to investigate that further. As far as multi-dosing, I know that the Representative for CDC Dr. Boyle in the congressional hearing on autism, stated the rationale was to ensure that kids were actually given all the necessary vaccines. In the article you posted, Paul Offit related it to stress in regards to frequency. What isn't being said is anything regarding to efficacy. Speaking of Dr. Boyle and the congressional hearing on Autism, I highly recommended watching it. I sat through all four hours with sheer nerdy enjoyment because It was quite the spectacle; watching a unanimously angry panel of congressmen rip the CDC to shreds and hand them their ars. Many very good points and questions came up. One interesting highlight that intrigued me was that one Representative asked what was being done to peruse Dr. Thorton, a key researcher on 21 out of the 24 research studies conducted that is now being indicted for fraud. This may or may not have any bearings on the research, however the rates of autism in the US are grossly disproportionate to the majority of the world. Fourteen Studies Mixed with the highest vaccination rates in the world, it's understandable why people are drawing these conclusions. Either way, the hearing is an interesting gauge on where we're at with Autism. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zGqUfvFDI4 Anyway, I digressed. So, I think an interesting point on over vaccination is overstimulating the immune system. It's a good question, and I'm sure there are studies on both sides of the fence such as this study done in Japan. PLOS ONE: Self-Organized Criticality Theory of Autoimmunity I know that with majority of vaccinations, the benefits outweigh the cost. I think most people would be correct to speculate at how far would Institutions go in the sake of "the greater good"? It certainly doesn't help when you have one of developers of the Guardisil vaccine speaking out and saying that because the manufactures didn't properly test the vaccine, their actions are on par with conducting a mass experiment on the general public. http://www.cbsnews.com/news/gardasil-researcher-speaks-out/ She also says that it's not any more effective than yearly pap screening, so do the costs really outweigh the benefits? Speaking of Merck and their integrity, it's terrible. When people are injecting their bodies with anything, I see how the integrity of the manufacturer is important. It's interesting when I came across court case of two whistle blowers against Merck that is accused of committing fraud on the effectiveness of their MMR vaccine. And why not? Merck Whistleblower Suit A Boon to Vaccine Foes Even As It Stresses Importance of Vaccines - Forbes As far as mandatory, yearly flu vaccines go; I don't know how many countless of people state they get sick anyway or get sick from it. To have someone tell a patient "well studies suggest this isn't so" is really a slap in the face to good practice and suggests that researchers simply aren't listening. Also I doubt that this kind of rhetoric and behavior is isolated to just the flu vaccine. One poster did an excellent job of explaining the doublespeak of distinguishing between "flu-like" symptoms and being sick. The CDC issues a report that casts a shadow for me. In summation: - Flu Vaccines. A Hassle?
