Thank you for your comments. Truly Greatly appreciated. I'm still waiting for their acceptance letter. As I have already 3 years of Nursing school in France They are granting me some credits for it but almost none for the liberal art stuff. SO I will most likely have to take A&P 1 and 2! and the microbiology/ math/ English. Very difficult to find what these class are REALLY about because when I go on the different Colleges web site they talk with codes Math 100, English 013. Nobody o the phone is super ready to explain me what it is either. 2 colleges accepted me already but they are not my 1st choice so I'm still waiting it a bit before enrolling, but I'd love to get myself ready to the classes to which I know I might struggle more (ie Math). I was looking at getting in touch with student who took these "mysterious" classes already to know what book they used. HI shorty11, Well Truth is I don't really know! When I look at the pre-req of college(LIU, Hunter) they say you need 11 credits of College Math" but coming from abroad I don't really know what it means. Is there any standard expectation that a college would have for Math?

HI, I'm an RN (educated in France) and I'm trying to get back to school to get a BSN. I don't have most of the pre requisits that they ask for. I graduated 15 years ago and dod mainly Humanitarian work for doctors without borders in Africa, so I totally need to gear up my brain toward Math. Can any of you recommend me a Math book that you used in college? I've checked on AMAZON but would they are plenty and I don't know which one would be best for me. Hi there, Well, first your reaction is pretty normal. everybody would feel upset by such a patient, espacially after a long day of hard work. don't feel guilty, just remember not to take it personaly.

Hi...i would go to check it out with a regular Doc first. Let him/ her make the decision if a dermato is neded. Cilc
