  1. i got about 36 select all that applies....got ALOT of priority questions...got about 3 meds.....i got about 5 maternity questions....there were meds i never heard of...i tried using the endings to figure out what the meds were but that didnt even help so i just had to take an educated guess....i didnt use the decision tree at all...took way too much time.....i took the nclex once before and failed with 265 questions...so second time around made me more nervous....i actually had to take a break around the 100th question because i was losing hope i went to the bathroom cried my eyes out, said a prayer and composed myself and told myself that i can do this....went back in there gave it another chance and got to 160 and took another break just to get away and clear my head...came back and just gave my all to it...to my surprise it stopped at 214....to tell you the truth i felt defeated the questions to me were harder than kaplan..but as you can see my scores werent that great for kaplan! so you guys can do it!!!!
  2. UPDATE:: took my nclex this afternoon ended up with 214 questions.......did the pvt trick and the good pop up came up!!!!!!!!! OMG OMG OMG!!!!!
  3. so here are my kaplan scores diagnostic: 54 Readiness: 58 QT 1: 57 QT 2: 56 QT 3: 53 QT 4: 59 QT 5: 59 QT 6: 52 QT 7: 59.3 Was only able to do about 56% of Qbank and averaging at 56% For some reason i have always been stuck in the 50s......i cant reschedule my exam cuz its too late what do you guys think are my chances of passing??? right now im just looking over the study guide from allnurses!!! second time test taker...soo nervous!
  4. do questions, questions, and more questions.....review all the answers if you didnt know the content of the question than you can go back into your books and look it up....otherwise just keep practicing questions...thats what im doing...my test is in two weeks!
  5. wow thats crazy! like u said everything happens for a reason! as far as you do not have to pay again!!!! you will do great in two weeks!!!!!
  6. i also took the virtual ATI! got a 90% chance of passing on the first try....there was a two weeks difference from when i took the predrn the actual test so i dont know if that could have been a factor in me not passing...any ways i ended up with 265 questions and did not pass! but i think my problem was i was not reading the questions correctly....i started to become restless and wanted to get up and leave after the 150 questions....i also had a friend that did ati too and passed with 75 questions...so i guess it depends on the person...im now studying with kaplan..hopefully the second time is a charm! good luck with your studies!
  7. So i took the nclex once already on may 2nd and failed...scheduled the second time for june 29...i studied the first time with ati and had a virtual tutor with them....had a 90% pass rate on the ATI predictor....day of the exam ended up getting 265 questions and failing...i was devastated..i think i was soo caught up in stopping at 75 and doing really, so after it passed 100 questions then 150 i started to lose hope..my problem i thnk i had was not reading the questions right and figuring out the stem and what the question was really asking.....so i decided to do kaplan after taking a few weeks off...my class just ended yesterday.... and i also went to a three day live class ATI provided for review....these are the scores i have so far Diagnostic-54% QT 1- 57% QT 2- 56% QT 3- 53% Readiness test-58% 1st Qbank 50 questions- 58% QT-4- 59 im always on the border of getting the actual passing mark but never do..so hopefully ill get there by the test date which is on june 29th.....my study plan consists of doing both kaplan and ati questions at least 150 a day and sometimes even more!
  8. so i decided to do the kaplan online also gonna buy the saunders book....im also gonna do the ATI live classroom too! so hopefully all these resources will help me next time!
  9. Hi Guys, so i took the RN NCLEX a couple of days ago and was not successful...so im trying to see ways i change my studying..i was thinking of taking KAPLAN...now do you guys take KAPLAN in a classroom setting or just online using the Qtrainer..im confused not sure how kaplan works..any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!
