  1. I just graduated from nlnac school as a RN and passed the board! Don't waste your time and money at these "for-profit" schools... Once you graduate no one will hire you because the school is only state accredited not Nursing! Look for a school that is either NLNAC or AACN, especially if you plan to transfer and get a BSN, most hospitals are Magnet status. My advice to you is just keep on applying at your local city college. The market is over saturated with RN and everyone now wants a BSN.
  2. Does anyone know if NWITH is going to offer a RN bridge program or is that just a rumor?
  3. If your ultimate goal is to become a RN, go to either a city college or 4 year university. Don't waste your time and money on a private school. I have friends that have gone to these private schools to become LPN's and in hopes of their dreams to become a RN, that never happened. Most of them got tired of taking all the pre-req courses again because the courses they took are not transferrable. There technically is no waiting list, just do your best and apply twice a year until you get in. Good luck! If you plan to work at a hospital go for your BSN, most hospitals are magnet status now. Hope that helps...
