  1. Hi all! I applied last week on Monday and received a call this last Friday just to go over my hospital preferences/specialties. Unfortunately, I was unable to obtain my nursing license in time for the start date of the last Versant. I'm a current employee of the Baptist system. I wish you all the best of luck!
  2. Yeah, I'm a Baptist employee with a BSN but I was unable to receive my ATT/test in time to obtain my RN. Plus, they are required to take in scholars as employees. It's tough. Luckily, we have a lot of options down here, and the next application opens in May.
  3. That's good news! Sending good vibes and luck to all.
  4. Hello, NurseRama! I do not have a number for HR but I am aware that the next application opens around the first half of May. I may end up joining you and applying since I might not be able to make the deadline for the nclex/obtaining my license. Good luck!
  5. I have not received a call. I'm just glad for the opportunity to interview. I needed the practice.
  6. Nothing yet. I interviewed for Med Surg last week. Good luck to all!
  7. Nothing yet. I have one of my classmates that got a call for Doctors ICU and accepted the offer. He informed me that HR said they're making calls through Friday. Good luck to all! I'm still waiting to hear from them
  8. Doctors hospital has a great team of people there, from administration to the nurses/staff. My former manager is the director there and she's great! Good luck!
  9. Congrats! They have an amazing team there and you're going to learn a lot!
  10. Hello all! Great tips for the NCLEX. I was lucky enough to interview for my top choice- Baptist Main ED. Wish you all the best! I plan on taking my NCLEX in February.
  11. Hi Jazfuturenurse! Welcome to WCU Miami! I just finished my first term and can say that so far so great. The professors really care about your progress, are a wealth of information and guidance. I'm currently re-taking a few science courses since they expired. I'll be taking physiology for Fall I,chemistry for Fall II and Patho/GE Capstone for Spring I. I start the nursing core classes for Spring II. I wish you the best and I'm sure you'll love it, too! -Nessa
  12. Is anyone still waiting for an admissions decision? I have emailed and called and all they told me is they're still sending out decisions. It's pretty frustrating...
  13. The wait is killer, lets all hang in there. Like someone previously mentioned..no news is good news lol. Yet, I agree...the anticipation is overwhelming.
  14. Tmath, thank you you for your kind words and encouragement! I hope to hear from them soon. Good luck to you :)
  15. Hello Sjojo415, Thank you for sharing your background and info with us and congrats on your admission. You gave me tons of hope! I've been through a similar situation as yourself and am hoping NYU considers my 4+ years of working as a coordinator in a very busy ER. I've done it all there- from chest compressions to admission processing and transporting patients. I've also worked full-time while in school, so I know I can handle an accelerated program. I hope to hear good news from them soon. congrats again!
  16. A little update. I contacted admissions through email yesterday in regards to my transcripts not being reflected on albert. They said they would update it and should be reflected within 24-48 hours. Sure enough it's there this morning.
  17. To those that have been admitted, how are you receiving the info? Through email, mail or on canelink?
  18. My transcripts are still coming up unchecked but I did receive confirmation from admissions that they have my transcripts. Good luck to all! =)
  19. Still waiting...
  20. Yep! I'm still waiting to hear. I think we got verified or maybe applied around the same time? Maybe that has something to do about it or they're waiting to hear back from those accepted in case it opens up some seats?
  21. Morning all! does everyone's application reflect receipt of transcripts? Mine is still showing as unchecked although I have contacted them in the past and they have confirmed my transcripts are received. I guess that's just me being impatient, lol.
  22. @Charming_Kitty Thank you! That lessens the anxiety a tad, haha. Btw, best of luck to you and your future endeavors! I know you had a ton of schools to choose from and I'm sure you'll become a successful nurse in the near future.
  23. @Tabularawsa, I had to contact NursingCAS and should soon be verified. They cleared some questions I had, not sure if everyone else knew but they have access to our applications even without being verified. So, we should be hearing soon enough. Good luck everyone!
