Oh and by the way, it may seem like a lot of money is being spent the first quarter on books but these are used for the entire program. The only additional books I bought that I didn't get in the beginning were the WONGs nursing care of infants and the notes on nursing book.

Hello all! Congratulations on making it in to the program! I am also in the cohort with jloya, armynurse, and abalone. Just want ask if you have been given the list of books that are required? If someone could post them on here and if they are the same as last year, I am happy to sell my books for a cheaper price!

Hey all, I went to the orientation for summer students and was told there will be a BBQ made for us closer to Fall quarter. We were told that a GOOGLE GROUP would be very helpful for us to exchange info, studyguides, questions, and comments. I have made one called: UW BSN 2012. No I didnt. I went to Ferndale High school, well actually still technically going, I graduate this June. Since I did Running Start I was able to get my AA and nursing prereqs done:)

\Im not sure, I will go to my CNA teacher and ask her if she can give me some sort of paper showing that I did have the HIV/AIDS. Have you asked anyone at the SON if having your CNA is acceptable?

Sami- I got accepted to WSU spokane campus but I am choosing to go to UW. So that opens up a spot and gives you a better chance:) Also, many of the people that applied to UW's nursing program also applied at WSU and will most likely choose UW so I would keep my hopes up:) You have a good chance of getting in!

Does anybody know how much total I would have to pay if I took NCLIN 302 and NURS 407 this summer?

Im feeling really lazy! which is not good because I am taking Organic chemistry and need to study lots. Im still deciding if I should take the summer classes, It will only be monday and tuesday for me, so its not that bad, I think it will be nice to get a head start but don't know if my pocket will let me:/ I started doing the compliance stuff, I need to get 2 vaccines and I already did my PPD test, I took an HIV/AIDS course and received a certificae before, I wonder if that counts?

I requested the add code and never received one. Anybody else in the same boat? I sent the email to [email protected].

HAHA:) Thats why I want to take those two classes, but I dont know if I will be able to. I submitted my fin aid for summer also, have you gotten a reply yet?

James, do you know how much it is going to cost? Also, can financial aid help for summer, i heard you need to take at least 12 credits to get financial aid? Have you submitted your summer app?

Sorry, yes I got it today and emailed for my code:) I just hope that they will have room for us by our registration date: May 24th!:)

This is what I found here: UW Course Add Policy/Periods There is a priority registration for current students: April 16- May 23rd Then there is regular registration for newly admitted students: May 24- June 17th Im guessing we are all "newly admitted", so we have over a month to wait hopefully the spots won't be taken by then!

What code? and where do we email for it?

I wish I got a review.We jumped straight into O chem and I have a test a week from today, Yikes:/ I took Gen Chem a while ago and dont remember much, everything is finally starting to come back, after hours of studying.... :)
