I called in today and asked about the MyStar thingy. I was told that the 'accept or decline' will not show up on our MyStar until the Fall semester starts(they haven't updated our MyStar yet) because we're still on the waitlist for Fall 2012. She also said that they will send out emails in the coming weeks about the MyStar thingy. And lastly, I was told that we can ignore the Aug 3 deadline. However, I will trust my gut and send my decision thru mail to be sure. :)

Congrats! :) I've received the letter of acceptance as well(still on the waitlist for fall 2012 though) Btw, did you MyStar change already? It states on the letter that we can accept or decline the acceptance thru MyStar, but mine says that I have no application for admission. Is yours the same as well?

UTMB was my first choice as well, but waiting for another semester?hmmm My ADN program will start next month(spent a bunch already and finished all the requirements), and UTMB(if ever) will start on January. Good thing about waiting is I have more time to save considering I will spend a bunch of $$$$$ before entering the program, but the ADN doesn't cost that much compared to UTMB's though. That being said, I really do have a tough decision to make!hehe Anyway, to those who received an acceptance letter, did your MyStar change because mine didn't! I kinda have some problem.hehe Okay, so I've finally heard from UTMB.....Acceptance letter! I should be happy, right? Well, not really; but still grateful that I finally heard something from them! Anyway, the letter states that I have been accepted to the Spring 2013 Baccalaureate program. However, I am still on the waitlist for Fall 2012. I applied for Fall 2012, but got accepted for Spring 2013 so I don't really know what to do. Another thing, I have until Aug 3 to decided whether to accept or decline the offer. I have been accepted to another school and finished most of the requirements for that school(and spent a lot, too!), and I will be starting next month if ever. I mean, waiting for another semester for the BSN program or ADN program that will start next month. Any inputs about this 'kind of problem' that I am dealing with right now? Your comments are greatly appreciated! Oh, and btw...anyone received the same letter?

Congrats to all! :) I'm still on the waitlist, and hoping to hear from them before I turn in my paperworks to another school. I got in to another school, but my heart says UTMB. Still hoping that I will have a spot though! :)

I haven't heard anything yet. However, I got accepted to another school, but my heart says I belong to UTMB.

It was via a postal mail. To be honest, I was scared when I saw that letter from the mail. I just hope that there will be a spot for me and for those who have been put on the waiting list. Good luck to all of us! :)

After almost a month, I finally hear something from UTMB(I was interviewed on March 14th). I just received a mail about 20 minutes ago saying that my name has been put on the waiting list. It says that if I don't hear from them by August 28, 2012, then it is unlikely that a position will become available for the fall 2012 class and I have to reapply again. Oh gosh....patience, patience, and more patience! :)

Hello everyone. First of all, I would like to congratulate those people who have been accepted; and to those who have not(including myself) heard anything yet, let's keep our fingers crossed and hope that we will hear something from them in the coming days. I was interviewed on March 14th and haven't heard anything since then. I also applied to other schools, but those are for the ADN programs and I'm really hoping that I will have my spot in UTMB. Anyway, are they done doing the interviews or they are still in the process of sending out invites? Also, who do we contact to make follow-ups regarding our applications? And to those who are still waiting like me, this passage(no offense meant to those who have different views) really helps especially when I think about my application. Matthew 6:34. :)

Called them today and they told me that they've received my scores. Now all I have to do is to wait till my account is updated. @Hemphia, how long did it took them to update your account? And to @readyforutmb, congratulations on your acceptance! :)

First of all, a big thank you for all the information you've posted here on this thread---it helped me a lot on my application. Anyway, just like Hemphia and others with the same problem, I am too is having a problem on my application. About three weeks ago, I've received an email containing my username and password for my 'my-star' account, and when I logged in, it says that my application is complete. However, when I checked it today, my account has gone from being complete to incomplete. It says that I'm missing the TEAS(Test Essential Acad Skill) test. I don't know why it's missing because I ordered my test result to be sent to UTMB a week before the deadline(even got an email from ATI that they've sent my transcript to UTMB) so I am confused to why it was missing. Anyway, I will call them tomorrow and give y'all an update. I hope that our problems will be corrected soon!
