  1. What do you mean by "full scope training"? What does Wolford offer different that FHCHS? Why specifically would you choose them over FHCHS? Thanks a lot!
  2. Absolutely apply now! I had the same situation and decided to apply to three schools. Got interviews and accepted to all.
  3. Yes I know that they are up for renewal in 2013. That is the first that I have heard about them having doubts of not getting renewed. Do you mind me asking why you applied and interview there if you had heard these things? It seemed as though you had intentions of going there had you been accepted. Any other ideas or thoughts on this issue?
  4. I have been accepted to both of these programs and paid a deposit to both. Could anyone give some insight as to wich one would be the better decision? Thanks!
  5. Yea I got my letter today as well. I am in! Although my start date is in feb. '13. I'm very excited! What is the tough decision?
  6. Has anyone heard back from Wolford yet?
  7. Please post on here when or if you have been accepted to start at Wolford for their Sept./Oct. start date in 2012.
  8. I am in the same situation. My GPA is 3.35. But If I do not get accepted this go around, then I plan on takins graduate pharm or patho. I would prefer to do it online as well. An info would be great!
  9. What happens if you are currently enrolled and the institution does not become accredited?
  10. I have heard that in 2015 that CRNA's will be moving to a doctorate program. Does this mean that all prior CRNA's with a masters will have to go back to school to obtain their Doctorate? Will it be harder for a MSNA to get a job in comparison to someone with their doctorate in anesthesia? Thanks!
  11. I have worked in the OR and in the ICU. After spending just one day in the ICU, I feel like I have accomplished more than a whole year in the OR. In the OR you may be responsible for going to pick up Neo but then you hand it off to anesthesia. In the ICU you are responsible for giving and titrating the med. You must know what you are doing. In the OR you are just a little run rat.
  12. Good luck!...you know Mason?
  13. Yes, In my opinion I believe that Hopkins would be the better place to work. But it would be a drastic move for me. About an 1000 mile move. I was just curious if having worked there would be a big difference when it came to applying for CRNA school. Anyone?
  14. Yea I know that Baptist is a great hospital. I'm not trying to deny that. I also know that Hopkins is hands down the #1 hospital in the US. I'm just trying to find out if there would be any upside to having Hopkins listed on my application as opposed to some other hospital.
