  1. The Magnet hospital that I will be starting at in January has a nurse to patient ration of 1 to 5. I was told that I will not get more than 5 patients. Hopefully it will stay that way once I actually start working there.
  2. Thank you all so much. I feel much better after reading the replies. Sometimes "fraud" is exactly what I feel like. I had a feeling that my first year out of school and on the floor would be pretty hard but it makes it easier knowing that it will pass AND I'm not strange for feeling this way now. Whew!
  3. I graduate with my ADN in 2 weeks. I have a job already and am not too stressed out (yet) about boards. What I am worried about is what is going to happen once I actually start working as a nurse! I am scared out of my mind that I will not be good enough or know everything that I am supposed to know. I've made good grades and always got good feedback after clinicals. I am just very scared that I really have no idea what I am doing! I don't know if any of this will make sense to anyone but am I totally weird to be freaking out like this?
