  6. I was wondering if I could work as an LPN(after passing the NXLEX-PN) during my last of an Associates degree program. I was told that in some states you aren't allowed to do that. I'm not sure what the state of Florida's rules are regarding that.
  7. 61yr old LPN, should I get RN?

If you can pay for the bridge program I'd say go for it. It's never too late in life to further your education. If you were 70 years old and wanted to do a bridge program I'd encourage you.

Thank you for the different opinion noahsmama. I just want to know how many hours I can work while in the program. I'm young, single, and live on my own so I have to work to support myself while in school. This route will allow me to be done with sch...
  9. accelerated "fast track" BSN program

That's why I think I'm going to look at the plan of study for the program. I don't want to start it and then have to back down to the regular program because I couldn't handle it.
  10. accelerated "fast track" BSN program

How many classes do you have to take every semester to finish a fast track program on time?
  11. accelerated "fast track" BSN program

I was wondering the same thing. I want to do the fast track but I'm not sure how much time it will require. I work a lot and I wasn't sure if I could handle it or not. I was looking into the Valencia/UCF fast track program.
  12. Telling your boss you're going to nursing school....

I just don't get it. If someone that worked for me was going to school I would be happy for them. My boss thinks that if she tells me that I have to go down to part time that I won't go to school and continue to work there full time. She's very wrong...
  13. Telling your boss you're going to nursing school....

I'm in the same boat. I work a full time job that requires me to have an open availability 6 days a week .I can't do that while in school. My boss is very nasty about schedule requests. I may be forced to work part time. My boss hates it when she kno...
