Hi guys, the hopsital system that I currently work for has recently implemented NTG gtt infusion protocols to be weight based instead of the standard mcg/min infusion. Have any of you seen this recently and do you know the rationale behind it?

Thats the problem, I have asked and no one seems to know the rationale behind it. I researched it myself and cannot find anything at all. Even the uptodate system that we have here states "Do not give based on kg" The email we received states NitroGL...
