    Thats the problem, I have asked and no one seems to know the rationale behind it. I researched it myself and cannot find anything at all. Even the uptodate system that we have here states "Do not give based on kg" The email we received states NitroGLYCerin 100 mg/250 mL D5W Weight-based Dosing Initial Dose: 0.05 mcg/kg/min Titration Dose: 0.05 mcg/kg/min every 10 min to maintain SBP less than 140 or _________. Recommended max dose no greater than 2 mcg/kg/min Thanks

    Hi guys, the hopsital system that I currently work for has recently implemented NTG gtt infusion protocols to be weight based instead of the standard mcg/min infusion. Have any of you seen this recently and do you know the rationale behind it?
