  1. Try to get A's in your remaining prereq. classes. Score >135 (99 percentile) in NLN exam and > 75 in ATI exam. I am starting my clinicals from Fall 2012. If you want to increase your GPA you can retake one class (department give permission to repeat only one class) and get A in it. Best of luck.
  2. To much excited to be accepted in AAS RN program in Hostos Community College, Bronx, NY. I think my ATI and NLN score were average. To say frankly I don't know which score to look at. My ATI reports says - Adjusted total individual score - 66.0% Mean - National - 64.3% Mean - Program - 64.9% Percentile Rank - National - 54 Percentile Rank - Program - 53 ( I was little bit in nervous and was giving test in computer first time. Unfortunately I log out the Math section, missing about 20-25 questions, which was the easiest portion for me. ) My NLN score says, Overall score = 126. Verbal portion was extremely hard for me. Luckily, My Prereq. GPA is 3.975. I think that's the reason I was selected for the Program. Suggestions - (1) Focus on Vocabulary for NLN. (2) Manage your time reading the passage of English/Reading section for both NLN and ATI. (3) Use common sense in math portion. If you use common sense you can solve a lot of questions by just looking options. (4) If you don't know exact answer, remove the options which seems to be wrong and then guess the answer. (5) For Science section Read both ATI and NLN book, which will be enough for both exams. (6) Math section is pretty easy. Best of Luck...........jai nepal
