Hello everybody! LPN TO RN AT HOSTOS!! I have completed all the pre requisites for rn, plus graduate from LPN program. However, i have low grades on Chem n bio (c,c+). they only accept to repeat one course if if i were to apply directly to the rn program I wouldn't be accepted . Nevertheless, I was wondering if I could get in though the bridge program with those low grades. I do know if is through the bridge GPA needed is only 2.5. Graduated from hostos lpn Thanks!!

Hi, I almost finish w/ all my pre-req to get into the nursing program at hostos cc. I still have to take aandp 2 and chemistry(will take microbio while in the program). My concern is that i have 3.0~ GPA and am not sure that i can get into the program. Am planning to take some easy classes to improve the gpa, but i know that here a hcc they focus more on the science classes and the nclex+the other nursing exam(dnt remember the name). Is anybody in the same situation as me, it does not matter if is not the same school. Please if somebody knows about any school accepting nursing stundets with 3.0~gpa in nyc or any place around let me know. Thanks (the reason why i got 3.0 gpa is because i have 3 B-)
