Can ORIF of the hip break again?
  3. Yes, I am paying for the class on my own however I dont mind because my instructor told us to take the classes and get them on your resume as it may add a bonus for a job prospect but I just dont know what other classes I should take. Also, because I graduated with my Associates, I figure I need a few extras on my resume.
  4. Ok thank you so much but can you help me out as to how to find those forums? Im having a hard time navigating this site, thank you for your help.

  6. Hi everyone...I just passed my boards and now getting ready for the job hunt. I am taking an ACLS class and an IV Therapy class this week and was wondering if anyone can suggest any additional classes I should take so I can add them to my resume. Any suggestions or advice is greatly appreciated!

  8. Wow, you're so right! Thank you and before I go into the field I'm gonna read this over and over again! Thank you for saying that about my Dad being proud of me, that meant alot.:redbeathe
  9. You're such a beautiful person - Tears and smiles reading that response. Thank you and peace be unto you as well Dave:redbeathe
  10. What a beautiful person you are - Thank you:heartbeat
  11. thank you - it's funny you would suggest grief counseling. I've been told to seek counseling many, many times over the years since my dad has passed but I've always figured - "how are they going to help me" "he's passed on and noone can say anything to ease my pain" but now you got me thinking - if it will help with my patientcare, then maybe I will start thinking about it as I want to be the best nurse I possibly can be.
  12. Im so sorry for your loss as well. Thank you for that advice. I have to remember I'm only human and its okay to feel emotional from time to time. I'm trying to bury that now before I get out into the field and I realize that's not the way to go...I'm only human.
  13. There is nothing wrong with being empathetic, it may hurt a lot the first time you identify - but try to distance yourself to a place where you can feel, but still function in your capacity as the professional. Thank you! Words of wisdom right there that I will always carry with me!:)
  14. Thank you! Thats great advice - I never thought about incorporating "Me time" into my journey. You have all been great and helpful. I was a little afraid to see the responses I would get but now I'm so glad I opened up.:heartbeat
