  1. Hi, It is very difficult to find anyone that has gone to Duquesne University for the PMHNP program or any NP specialty. I am currently at Chamberlain and finished my BSN and my initial MSN courses but definitely want to switch as the NP Program reviews at Chamberlain are absolutely terrible. I have applied to Duquesne and Frontier University. I was accepted at Duquesne for January 2024 start and waitlisted at Frontier. I know FNU has an excellent PMHNP program but was curious about Duquesne. Besides the cost that is about twice that of FNU.....does anyone have any feedback of knowledge of their program??
  2. Hi, Did you ever end up moving to Grand Junction?? I have just recently sent resumes to St Marys and am a new grad from Iowa, so I was just wondering how their hiring process goes. Let me know if you heard or know of anything new!! Thanks!!
  3. Thank you, from the sounds of it new grads need all the luck they can get!! Have you found anything yet?
  4. Thanks! I've been thinking of just waiting to apply anywhere, it should only be a couple more weeks (granted that I pass!) I'm just getting excited :)
  5. Does anyone know if Denver Health will hire before NCLEX is taken? I noticed they had a couple positions that will consider new grads, just wondered if I should wait? P/SL recruiter told me to wait to apply for their positions until after I pass boards. Just wondering if DH is the same :)
  6. Thank you for the replies! I have been considering applying for the new grad residency at Denver Health, when it opens up, but haven't found too much info on here about that. They don't require BSN's but preferred, so there is a chance! It seems that they have a few jobs on their website lately that will consider new grads, so its seems to be the most promising, but I don't have the inside scoop!! @ Patty - Have you had any luck finding a job??
  7. Hello, This is my first post! YAY!! My husband and I both graduated from an ADN program 3 weeks ago and are both finishing up management/preceptorships. We will be moving back to Colorado (hopefully) and I was just wondering if anyone knew of specific hospitals on the front range that will hire RN's contingent on passing NCLEX. I know the new grad program at Presbyterian/St Lukes in Denver will, but any others?? I know its a horrible market in Colorado for new grads, but its worth a shot!! We won't be moving until we get jobs, so if nothing comes up, we will go elsewhere. Just looking for encouraging information! Any advice/information is appreciated:)
  8. Hi, I've also been trying to find information on this in hopes to apply for November or July (depending on when the deadlines are) Have you heard anything or found out anything??
