Congratulations on your acceptance!! I received my acceptance letter also, but I have questions. Did you have to pay the 100 deposit before you could make your appointment? I tried calling but I had to leave messages. I also see I would have to take Chem 101 over because mine is over 5 years, did anyone else have to do that class over? I read a lot of post about neuron and people are saying they had to do another foreign language and a theology class, has anyone heard anything about that? Please let us know how your meeting goes. I really would love to go t Neumann because it is part time. I got accepted into Gwynedd Mercy accelerated program, but I need a program where I can at least work part time and still go to school.

Hello when I was looking for a 2nd chemistry class to take the biochemistry had the same description at my Community College but they said they would not take it because it didn't have enough organic chemistry. So I had to look around and found another Community College that had Introduction to Organic Biochemistry and thats the one they will accept. Also I have to take Nutrition over because it was not taught by a dietician. I thought it was crazy, but I will not pay for there classes because they are toooooo high. My admission counselor told me if I decided to take it to take it with Portgage Online learning because it is cheaper, and at your own pace. I would call or either email your advisor with the information that you have to see why they did not transfer.

Hello I was wondering how is school going for you so far? I will be starting in the fall program at the Philly campus. I got accepted for the summer start but had to push it to fall.

Oh man congrats to you too!! I want to get into a shorter program also, no more than 2 years. I applied to Thomas Jefferson and Villanova, so I am praying that I get into one of them. If not I will stick with he 16 month program. I want to apply to Neuman I just got to get around to doing those Essays.

Hello Nish yes I did!! I really want to get into a 2 year program so I am still trying to figure out which way I want to go. I am also waiting on other 2 other schools that I applied to. Did you ever apply to Neuman? I was thinking about applying there but didn't finish my application.

Oh man ........... How long have you been in the program? I was supposed to start in may at Bensalem, but I pushed it the August start date that starts in the philly campus. I am waiting on two other schools to see if I can get in, but haven't heard anything yet.

Great information!! Thank you, and yes it is hard to get information on these schools. I applied to GMercyU and got accepted in the May cohort but pushed it to the August cohort so that I can save some money, and try to get some more information on the school also. I want to get some advice from anyone that graduated from there and how was their experience, but I can never find anything. Hoping that someone responds to your post.

Hello was this for the 1 year or the 2 year fact program?

Thomas Jefferson is actually my first choice, but if I can get into the weekend program I think that would also be a better fit for me. I still need to work, and right now I do three 12 hour shifts a week. I could still work 2 to 3 days and go to school on the weekend. In the summer weekends would be free and I don't mind doing online classes. I would love to be able to get it done fast but the way our finances are set up, I feel as if I have to still work.

Hello Samantacullo did you take any of the prerequisites at Gwynedd Mercy?

All of these schools are so different. This is my last for Drexel and for gwynedd mercy I need Biochemistry and Nutrition (which I have taken, but if its not by a nutritionist I will have to take over). I think I would only need biochemistry for Thomas Jefferson also. I didn't apply for Lasalle because I did not want to take that test ...lol I haven't heard of Neumann, so maybe I will look up some information and apply there also.

I applied for that program also which is the same with me they won't render a decision until my A and P class is done. I am also submitting my application today to Thomas Jefferson they have two 24 month BSN acclerated programs. One is like a traditional where you go 5 days a week with breaks and the other one is 2 nights and weekends but is still considered full time. I was going to do the day one, but when I seen that they were offering the night one made me change my mind and you can only apply to one. My transcript that Gwynedd is waiting for Thomas Jefferson just received on Tuesday and I requested them both at the same time.

Hello Nish I actually just got off the phone with Mr Wambol they are just waiting for my transcript from the Community College I attended in North Carolina. So once they get that they will be able to proceed with my application. I have requested it twice and don't understand why they have not received it. Hopefully they receive it this week, because I really feel the weekend program will be better for me. I would like to get it out the way faster but with bills and family I need a stretch because I still need to work. :) I am going to do another request since its free and hopefully they get it.

Yes you do have to believe in yourself!! I was also putting off nursing because I didn't have a strong GPA, so I decided to apply anyway. I have gotten 1 rejection which I promised myself I would not let it get me down, because all I can do is just push forward and keep trying, and pray. :)
