1. Here is the thread I made after I passed the NCLEX with my review tips: https://allnurses.com/nclex-discussion-forum/my-road-freaking-936988.html
2. Hey @kenee23! I used Virtual ATI tutor for my NCLEX-RN and just took my exam last week. I did end up passing with 75 questions but I do not think that ATI is enough. Here was my approach to using Virtual ATI: 1) I went through the 'learning activities' section and read through EVERY power point at least twice before trying to test out of the module. The ebook and 'focused review' are just way too long and hard to read in my opinion. 2) If I got below the 60% benchmark on a module I would go through the learning activities once more and also use my Saunders book as needed. 3) Don't get frustrated if it takes you a few tries on the Comp Predictor at the end to get the 'green light.' It took me three tries before finally getting above 92% chance of passing on the comp predictor. I really did not feel confident in ATI because their test bank just isn't big enough and I would end up getting a lot of the same questions over and over again. I purchased Linda LaCharity's 'Assignment, Delegation, and Prioritization' book which was extremely helpful for not only these types of questions but also CONTENT that was provided in the rationales. One week before my test I purchased Kaplan's 2014-2015 'Strategies, Practice and Review' book. I read the entire book and answered the questions with rationales at the end of every chapter. ATI also lacks in infection control information. I would recommend using the first two pages of the 35 page study guide floating around this website to help with that. Let me know if you have any more questions. I found it very hard to find anyone on this website that also used ATI, it seems like everyone uses Kaplan!
3. Has it been the full 48 hours from the time you finished the exam? Does it allow you to try to reregister to try the PVT?
4. CONGRATS, RN!!!! So happy for you!!!!!!
5. WOOT WOOT is right! Congrats, RN! Go CELEBRATE
6. I only had 15 SATA and PASSED! I agree with @RNsRWE, it is a huge NCLEX misconception that the more SATA you get the better you're doing. Not true at all...I had 75 questions and only had 15 SATA. My classmate had 77 questions and 50 SATA and passed. The format of the questions you're getting has NOTHING to do with how well you're doing.
7. Try your very hardest to BELIEVE in yourself. Although, I know first-hand how tough that can be when you get the 'on hold' popup. I swear I was on the Pearson Vue website every 10 minutes-I even woke up in the middle of the night and checked LOL
8. Here is the contact information: Office Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. CT; closed on local holidays.

Telephone Number: 866-49-NCLEX / 866-496-2539

9. I also got the 'on hold' popup last week after 75 questions and it drove me absolutely nuts. I recommend calling Pearson Vue and inquiring about the hold. It can be put in place for many different reasons; palm scanner problems, taking the test too fast, etc. I called them a few different times before the 48 hours and they wouldn't give me a reason for the hold. Exactly 50 hours after my exam, I logged into Pearson Vue and noticed that my quick results were available. Before I paid for the quick results I tried the trick and it gave me the good popup. I then paid and found out I passed. Try giving them a jingle-if anything, maybe it will push them along! Good luck to you! Sending positive vibes your way!
10. Thanks so much for the information-you saved me from sitting on hold for three hours with the state. Ugh, this is so frustrating!
11. Oh my goodness, that is insane! Am I still able to apply for jobs without a license number? Where is the application form to fill out located so I can send it in ASAP?
12. I know, right?! I need to work on believing in myself a little more! Thank you for the congrats! I'm a happy camper :)
13. I just passed in Illinois as well on 7-16-14. So I have to send in $50 to the Illinois Board of Nursing in order to get my license? When will I be able to at least get my license number so that I can apply for jobs with it? I'm new to this state so I don't have anyone to answer these questions. Thank you!
