  1. I just went for an interview at the hospital. It was an interesting interview since I got caught up in a code 9 at my interview and everyone tugging at my interviewer vying for her attention. It was not one of my best for sure. It has been almost a week and no reply yet. I really am afraid because I have very few options at this time. We are moving in 3 weeks due to my husbands job relocation and I can only seem to find two hospitals to work for. Since I graduated in Dec 2005 I started in a LTC facility and am currently working in a Transitional care unit. I strongly desire to enter the acute care field but seem to be having problems. I feel I am labeled as a "geriatric nurse" not that there is anything wrong with that but it is not where I want to be. I am just afraid and frustrated and don't know where to go from here and throwing moving into the mix I am a complete mess....HELP!
