sumner college vs itt tech
I got my ma done at heald college and did really well and got a job after, I learn much better in that environment vs community college its much more hands on and a smaller classroom size and a set schedule which works better for me with 3 children, to each their own but I have had better sucess in these learning environments

sumner college vs itt tech
they have agreements with places so you can finish your bsn... for the l and d rotation you do things with pregnancy houses in Portland, I don't want to do the commmunity college route, so if this isn't a good idea I will go to concorde for surgery tech. I know they are for profit I know they cost a lot that part doesn't bother me.

sumner college vs itt tech
Hello yesterday went to an information session at sumner college I have already checked out Itt tech program...has anyone attended either of these colleges? how were clinical s? were you able to find a job? sumner doesn't offer a clinical in labor and delivery or peds and those are the areas I want to work in so that made me a little nervous, and itt and sumner hospital clinical's are very far away they are not in the Portland area. I dont want to spend 50k on school and not be able to get a job, I know they are pretty much requiring bachelors degrees now which I can continue and get with either school. Is doing this route worth it or should I just become a surgical tech through concorde and work surgery in labor and delivery? please help

what job is best in this economy. lpn, surg tech or respiratory
I am a mother of 3 and have a degree as a medical assistant currently working full time in the restaurant industry. I miss healthcare and want to go back to school. I'm looking at lpn, surg tech and respiratory therapy. My love in healthcare is obgyn, nicu and peds.I am cobsidering respiratory therapy cause I could be in nicu or peds. Surg tech I could do surgury with c sections abd lpn I could work in a clinic and the hours would be better for a mom. I don't have time yo get my rn right now as you need a bachelors in Portland, or. Which of these do you think I'd have the easiest time finding work after I graduate? That's my fear to not find a job

Nursing in portland vs Respiratory Thearapy
Hi I am a mom of 3 and 30 and have a degree as a medical assistant but haven't used it in awhile. my passion is healthcare and I am going back to school but trying to make the right decision. I am looking into respiratory thearpy at concorde or registered nursing at itt tech both in Portland Oregon... I am nervouse about nursing cause from what I see they aren't hiring anyone without a bsn and I am not sure about itt tech, but with respiratory I know there aren't as many job openings. anyone have any advice? I need to make a decision soon. thanks :)
