  1. Any updates about this? I called POEA today ask what the requirements are but they replied just to wait and they will post it on their website...
  2. For all those wondering if they are able to endorse "expired" pass letters/test results frim CA BON to TX BON, it is indeed possible! I took and passed the NCLEX in Oct 2007 and when my file expired I gave up on it coz I did not think it was possible to endorse the results anymore. But just a couple of months ago I started researching and thought to myself that I should just go and try my luck. So I filled up the necessary documents and passed all the requirements, and thru God's goodness I recieved my Texas license number (at least online, I have yet to recieve the paper license i the mail) last May 1, only two months since I sent all the documents. This forum has been very helpful and contains almost all the information needed in the endorsement process. But its always best to contact Texas BON directly if you are unsure of what to do coz they would know how best to advise you. Like when I read that a requirement was that the NCLEX must have been taken 4 yrs prior to endorsement unless practicing/working as a nurse I emailed TX BON and asked if my recent hospital experience here in the Philippines and abroad would be considered and they replied yes it would. So I send a notarized copy of my employment certificates along with the application form. I hope all of you are also successful in endorsing your results! :-)
  3. I think its best if you call Guam BON directly and ask advice from them. Im also a nurse from the Philippines who took my NCLEX in Ca way back in 2007! In April I called Guam board of nursing about endorsing my test results but was told that they do not accept test results, only an active license. Good thing I was already in the process of endorsing my results to Texas. Im glad to say that by God's grace I recieved my Texas license this May 1. Now im in the process of endorsing this active license to Guam. I dont know if they will give you the same advice, I might have been told this because my NCLEX results are almost 6 yrs old already, but I hope you will be successful in obtaining your Guam license.
  4. Does anyone know where I can take ACLS training this Nov? Thanks in advance to those who reply :)
  5. Good day fellow nurses! I just had my initial interview at RITM for the RNHEALS 2 program. I attended their IVT class last Sept and submitted my resume with their personnel department in hopes they would have an opening for staff nurse position (hey, a girl can wish right? hehehe) I didn't even know about RNHEALS untill last week when RITM texted me to go for the exam. The chief nurse was the one who interviewed all the applicants (60 were called for the interview from the more than 200 who took the exam) she informed us that if chosen a panel interview with the assistant medical director and other hospital officials would be the next step. Successful applicants (they will take 20 or 30 -this part I forgot) are to report for duty on Dec 1, I'm really praying I get in! Please don't get discouraged about this program, or other government programs, with the thought that only those with "backers" get in. Most of the applicants I talked to simply submitted their resume to RITM without knowing anyone there. In fact, one of them told me about a girl they took the exam with who is the daughter of one of the employees of that hospital, but she didn't make it to the interview because she did not pass the exam. I hope and pray that I get accepted because I've been unemployed for almost a year now. I also hope that there will be more job opportunities for us nurses here in the Philippines. God bless.
