  1. I worked as a CNA in 1997, I'm pretty sure my certificate has expired. I am looking to get back into nursing assistant work (and moving on from there) would I need to retake the full CNA program or would I be able to retest? I'm not sure what do to. Thanks!
  2. Stay away from Kaplan. I received two degrees from them and their financial aid department is horrible. I am currently fighting them over a $10K+ balance because of their idiot staff and their mistakes. No one is on the same page there and they will keep giving you the run around.... IMOP- RUN!
  3. STAY AWAY FROM KAPLAN!!!! I went there for my AS and BS and their financial aid department is absolutely horrible! I am currently fighting them over a $10k+ balance that I have, because of their idiot staff and their mistakes. There are tons of complaints filed against them yet they continue to do what they do.
  4. Hi everyone I'm just looking for a little bit of advice/opinions. I am currently working in the pharmaceutical field with no where else to go, so I've been thinking of a career change. I recently graduated with a BS in Health Science with the goal of attending the MGH nursing program in Boston, however the bills have piled up and it would be impossible for me to quit my job to attend full time. So I've been thinking about a part time LPN program. From what I've read, nursing/LPN school is tough! Math is the absolute worst for me... that is one thing I am terrified of! If anyone could offer some advice... or even an insight to what a LPN program is like. I would much appreciate it! (Also, just a side question for anyone who has worked as or with a operating room assistant... what's that like, I've been thinking of applying for a position). Thanks!
