Saint Louis University SLU?!
cm530- Hey, i am going to be in the May 2012 cohort also!!!!... However, I am from St.Louis, so I will not need a place to stay, but I would like to offer you some advice. I would recommend living in South City. It is not too far from campus and the houses/apartments are cheaper then the ones in the SLU area. South City is also cheaper then central west end. If you need any help let me know!

Anyone familiar with MU's Accelerated BSN Program?
do you have any type of free time? I mean just enough to keep you sane? like are you able to do one thing you enjoy doing for at least an hour once a month? I dont expect to have ample free time but I would like to have some down time at least for one hour once a month so I do not go crazy lol. I have to make a decision between SLU and MU and I do not know which to choose .

SLU vs Mizzou accelerated nursing program
Nailbomb- I was wondering how the program is going for you? I hope still great! I have to make a decision soon. Is there anything else you would like to tell me about your likes and dislikes? Also, how is the staff and teachers? are they nice and helpful? I work best in a positive environment! lol Did the program make you feel too stressed, I mean like to the point where you wanted to quit? Thanks, britbrat

Saint Louis University SLU?!
I don't know if it would be too late? I applied in October, because I knew that SLU was kind of on a rolling admission process. They will continue to accept students until all their spots are filled. However, they do accept like 100 people because they know that some of them will not show up. There are usually only about 65 students that end up in the program though. (those numbers could be a littler off, but that's a ball park figure) So, my advice to you would be to call SLU and ask them if they are still admitting students for May. Also, I am not sure what the average GPA is, but I do know that they take your previous degree into consideration, focus more so on your prerequisites, and your personal statement. So as long as you have above the minimum GPA requirement even if its just a 3.1, I would still apply! GOOD LUCK

Saint Louis University SLU?!
Yes I am from Saint Louis. I recommend looking for places that are like 15mins from SLU, because the central west end is an expensive place to live and the area around SLU is also. However, Saint Louis has a low cost of living rate. Just let me know if you need any help or have any questions. Im glad I know somebody that will be in the program with me.
