  1. HI everyone, new here.. I have applied to both RN program & LPN program (as a back up) at my college in Jacksonville, Fl my home town. Right now I am working full time, where I have been for the past 3 years.. I have completed all pr-reqs working a full time job. Upon getting accepted I obviously am leaving my full time job to focus on school 100%. I should be getting letters here soon in the next couple of weeks to know whether I made it in or not. FINGERS CROSSED! Anyways, my question to all of you that are currently enrolled in programs is how many of you work while enrolled? Even like as a waitress, retail, etc. Can it be done? I am hoping to be able to handle waiting tables at least a couple nights a week and weekends.. but i don't want to cut myself short of study time/ homework, etc. Also, another question.. do you think it is a good idea to go through with the LPN program if I don't get accepted to RN? (I will then do the LPN-RN bridge after that) any advice will help!! Thank you so much!
  2. Hi all, I am new to this site. I just wanted to state that I am finishing up Micro right now (will be done mid Dec) and then I plan on turning my application in by the Feb 1st deadline. EEK I am so nervous. I really need to take the NAT again since I don't think I did very well the first time, that was ROUGH and I am not a good test taker anyways! With all my scores, it's not very high under 200 I believe :uhoh21: so Y'all should stop freaking out! haha I am most likely not goign to be getting accepted my first try, but that won't stop me. I plan to either do CNA or Surgical Tech program if I don't get accepted and just keep trying. I'm curious, did any of you try to apply to any other schools? I was told to apply to many. Wondering what may be another good school to apply to? good luck to all of you with acceptance letters!! =)
