UBC Nursing - September 2013
I haven't heard back yet...hopefully sometime tomorrow or on thursday :) but I have a low gpa... 72% (I dropped 6 percent last semester) Nevertheless, I believe I have a solid supplemental...I've been volunteering at a hospital for almost four years, volunteered abroad, volunteered at pharmacy, dentist, etc. What do you guys think? Is there a possibility for me to receive an invite for the interview? I'm so nervous and desperate! Fingers crossed for all of us!!!

Biology 153 at UBC
Hello! I'm a student in first year Arts at UBC. I'm desperately wanting to become a nursing student at UBC within a couple of years... I'm currently taking Biology 153 (winter session) and is feeling very overwhelmed. I failed my first mid-term and is wondering whether I should take it during the summer. I'm doing fairly decent with the lab component, whereas, the lecture component is terrible. ----- has told me that he'll omit my first midterm IF I do great with the remaining exams... but I still feel hopeless. I always feel 'blank' when I go into lectures and feel like I'm wasting my time. I really need this course to get admitted to UBC nursing, but it's currently influencing my other courses in a negative way as well. I'm still adapting to university life... So I'm thinking whether it'll be better to take it during the summer (then I will be able to commit my whole time just into Biology). I hope to hear from you guys asap with some great advice!!! Thanks!

BIO 153 or 155 @ UBC
Hello to all of you guys... I'm currently in Bio 153 (winter session) and I've totally failed my first mid-term. Prof says he'll omit the first exam IF I do decent with the rest of the remaining exams... but I still feel hopeless!!! I'm wondering if I should take it during the summer (because then I can commit my whole time into it...whereas right now I'm still adapting to university:( ) or if I should remain in this class?
