  2. Hi Debs17 I am taking advance pharm in september. I need a summer break after pharm class.. OMG it almost killed me )) I work full time as well ... Do you have all your clinicals set up? I have a hard time finding the cites.. where do you live? I live in NH
  3. HELLO , i JUST FINISHED advanced patho and that was the most difficult class so far for me in the program as of yet . I am starting to look for preceptors for clinicals and a have hard time finding any. For the assessment course do we have to find a family practice /community clinic or it can be done in the Internal medicine/adult office?? do you have all preceptors lines up in one place or different? there is a theory part and clinical practicum part so its considered two diff classes so we have to pay/register for both at the same time? th

  9. Hello fellow students , I am taking NP 603 and find it difficult . Any advice from people who finished?? Concept maps are very hard and seems like the material is so wide to cover that 15 weeks course is not enough. Any suggestions?? Thank you

  12. Hello I have a question about clinical . Can you work 4 days a week and di clinicals onc a week? How far in advance you have to have preceptors line up. Should it be one or many? I have accesss to preceptors (FNPs) in the nursing homes. whould this be good? Also classes on nursing assesments , phrmacology.. They are not clinicals , correct? TX NOrik 95

  14. Fellow students .. I am doing leadership NU506 unit 3 , I am stuck on FTE s calculations.. does anybody remmember how to do that? I think I figured out the problem itself , but then professor asks "if you had four nurses who wish to work half time how many nurses total you need to hire? " I am stuck.. TX norik 95

  16. Hello fellow students , Does anybody considering taking summer classes on campus week July-16-20? I have emailed my advisor to see if I can take ethics and research ( am and Pm classes) Have anybody done that before? I guess they have room and board as well .   17. Yes ,the GRE requirements will turn people away..I guess they have a lot of applicants and need to turn people away..
  18. I just got an email from the GPS faculty . New FNP admittion rules from 2012-2013 that requires GRE testing. Does anybody knows if its applies to people in the program that taking first 2 classes? I am on my second class , and a little worry that I have to take GRE now.. I think that takes effect in June 2012
  19. I just got an email from GPS program at St Joses, that they changing admittion process for FNP and now will require GRE test. I am in the program and taking second class ( leadership) .. Does anybody knows if it applies to people who already started? I am concerned because I think my advisor told me that I need to get through two first classes ( informatics and leadership) to be actually admitted tl the program.
