  1. That's awesome guys!!! Congrats!!! Now does anyone know about everything we.have to do? there is so much stuff that is required like immunization, CPR class, drug tes,t background test... do you guys know where we take the CPR class??I'm so confused and frustrated
  2. Hey did u hear back from uic?
  3. Man... that makes me not want to go in to the program. I also get straight A's and I don't want to ruin my gpa bc I also want to get my masters.... plus its like if I never have any time for myself thar kinda sucks, its like wasting the best yrs of your life. I feel like, if I go into this program, I'll come out depressed and aged 20yrs idk what to do now :( I only have till may 1srlt to accept my admissions for the community health program that I also applied for. Fo you know if you can take summer classes for uic?
  4. Someone mentioned that only 50% of the students graduate?? Is this correct?? I'm scared. I would love to find out more about the the nursing program and how the classes work. I also got accepted for fall 2013 at the urbana site.
  5. Hmm I understand how your feeling... But I applied to Urbana too and heard back. Did you give them a different email? I would call, maybe the emailing situation is off. Plus there is always next yr, which sounds like a bummer I know but don' t lose hope.
  6. Hm... That;s strange. I got my email around 10am today. Have you tried calling. I would call asap! Call t the adviser in urbana. Check you spam. Hopefully it's there and says your accepted!
  7. Good luck guys! Keep strong! I heard some people are not able to pay the tuition deposit and drop out, spots even open up till the first day of class.
  8. I also applied to Community health at UIUC and got accepted.. Not sure which one to choose, nursing or health?
  9. I got accepted thank you god!
  10. second week of april
  11. Ughh.... the wait is killing me! I spoke to "mike" 3-4 times he said second week of april. I'm so stressed out... I'm going to be so depressed if I don't get accepted to UIC because that's the only school I applied to for nursing, my back up is U of I community health with a concentration in health administration..... Which would be nice if i was a nurse already otherwise it's hard to find a job. What were your guys GPA's? How do you guys think you did on the essays and were your letter of recommendations strong? I feel iffy about my letters and essays but good about my GPA. 4 month wait is so long. IDK i wish everyone the best...
  12. They aren't?? Hmm do you think it would be a waste of time to go there then? Because if that's the case.. I rather stay home and finish up my essay and submit my application today. Yea i'm a little worried about the rec. letters i really hope my professors do a good job. I',m so nervous too and the essays are hard because of the word limit... ughh i need people to proof read them. that's mainly why i'm going to the workshop
  13. Hey juliana, I think they want one letter that speaks about how you will do in the nursing field and your academics, while the other one speaks about you as a person and a leader... i believe... Are you going to the workshop today??? I still have two more essays to go. I'm going to go to there workshop today in chicago on damen 4:30-5:30. Keep me posted!!!
  14. Really?? I sent it a long time ago lol... I send it again.. Maybe the email address is wrong? I copy and pasted it.
  15. I sent you the email =) let me know if you got =D what is hesi entrance exam anyways?? luckily uic does;t require a entrance exam
