After 4 times....Thank you!
thank you, lord! i took my test on wednesday at 8am...after being there for the full six hours and after completing the 265 questions, i felt exhausted. now the real anxiety began, the waiting game. i could not bring myself to do the pvt trick, so i decided to forget about it. i was too nervous. today, at church, i asked the lord to give me strength to accept whatever the results were and courage to find out. i am very happy to share with you that i passed, and i am now officially a registered nurse! i am overwhelmed with joy and gratitude for the lord, to my family, friends, and you my fellow nursing community! thank you for all your kind, encouraging words, and support! congratulations to those who have passed and to future nclex takers, i wish you success!! "for i know the plans i have for you," declares the lord. "plans to prosper you, not to harm you, plans to give you hope and future." ~jeremiah 29:11

Hi Wyne! From what I've been reading in other threads, that is considered the good pop-up! Congrats! I've yet to do the PVT because it was my fourth time taking it and it petrifies me. I haven't had the guts to attempt it.

4th time VS. NCLEX
Hello Everyone! I'm hoping I can get advice, encouragement, tips, anything to lift my spirits and lessen my anxiety. I graduated in May 2009 and since have take the NCLEX-RN 3 times unsuccessfully. Each time it gets me down even worse. I will be taking it for the fourth time this December. I have been studying like crazy, from every possible book/cd. I've done Kaplan and Hurst Reviews, as well. I had been working in private home care and left it because I felt I needed to focus 100% on this test. I've distanced myself from former classmates because I feel bad that I'm practically the only one that has not passed from my class. I'm also worried about not being hireable since its taken me so long to pass. As you can see, with 5 weeks to go, the stress, anxiety and fear of not passing, yet again, is taking over my mind to the point that I've had nightmares. There's nothing more in this world that I'd love:heartbeat to be than a NURSE ! I'm reaching out to you for your advice, thoughts and prayers! Thank you for taking your time in reading this.

Scripps Healthcare New Grad Program 2011
Hello All! I noticed many of you applied to several programs all over the state. I was wondering if there is a specific website you went to that has information on all the current New Grad Programs or if you went into each individual website to find out? Thanks in advance!

US Nurses Wishing to Work Overseas
I'm interested in continuing my education and pursuing a higher degree in Spain, possibly work, if permitted. I currently have an associate degree. Does anyone have any information, suggestion, or comment? Thanks in advance!
