  1. Did any of ya'll (for L&D) have (MODERATOR EDIT OF RECRUITER INITIALS - PLEASE DO NOT POST NAMES/INITIALS OF INDIVIDUALS PER TOS) as recruiter? Have you heard back yet? I'm still waiting to hear something....anything....!!
  2. I scheduled an interview for the 29th (L&D). Can someone tell me what to expect? Is it a panel interview? Behavioral questions? Good luck to everyone!!
  3. MichG, does THR have intern openings? I didn't see anything on their website and was curious as to how you applied....please let me know!
  4. Could someone tell me when Medical City posts their internships? I graduate May 2013, and I've been looking at their website with no luck. Any help is appreciated!
  5. You apply for FAFSA, and that qualifies you for any scholarships. Scholarships are awarded based on merit and need. Theres really no foolproof way to know if or how much you get. Pretty much everyone can get loans, though. Good luck!
  6. I second what sugarmagnolia said...just call or email or meet with an advisor. They're one of the nicest people you'll run into. I think your prereq and science gpa's hold more weight than the undergrad. Sugarmagnolia....did you start at Brookhaven? Fastbacc started yesterday.....phewwwww!
  7. @financetohealth: hey! So were you at orientation these past two days? FASTBACC 2013? I'm Rani.....
  8. Does anyone know anything abt the $300 deposit? I received my letter of acceptance from the University as well, and it talks abt going to the website and completing the Health Assessment. However, on the website, it asks for the $300 deposit first. Any ideas?
  9. Just out of curiosity.....does your letter say provisional acceptance? Mine did, with conditions being that I complete all the prereqs. I have already completed all my prereqs, so I figured the letter is just generic one sent to all accepted students....now I am second guessing myself....what do your letters say?
  10. p.s., gobaylor account still says "required:admission to the school of nursing", but i rcvd acceptance letter in mail yesterday. always thought gobaylor was updated first....anyways, so for those of you looking at gobaylor...dont stress yet. your letters may be on the way :).
  11. @sugarmagnolia and @ er2012: I am in the same boat as ya'll..worried abt the tuition. But what I have heard is that Baylor has a lot of scholarships that reduce the final cost. I really hope we qualify for some of them! Baylor is my only option as I cant afford to be out of the workforce for more than a year, and I cant move from the Dallas area (expecting baby in 3 weeks!). I am going to reach out to the financial aid person at Baylor (wasnt his name Tulu?)...will keep ya'll posted on what I find out abt scholarships!
  12. Me too!!! Am so thrilled!!! Have you sent the "yes, will attend" letter back?
  13. Hi...I have applied to the May 2012 program too! Got an email saying they wld send out decision letters by end of Nov, early Dec. My prereq GPA is 3.8, sciences 4.0 and HESI 94. Baylor is the only one I applied to, so I am really hoping for a positive outcome! Good luck to us!
  14. Can anyone tell me what the interview was like? I have applied for the FastBacc program - May 2012, and finished all my pre-req's. GPA is 3.8, Science GPA 4.0 and HESI avg 94. This is the only school I am applying to since I dont have an option of moving anywhere else (new baby!) and cannot afford to be in school for more than a year. Will be really bummed if I dont get in this year!
