  1. Hi everyone! I’m a new nurse working on a telemetry unit looking for some signs (daily weight, HOH, Blind, No BP on ___ arm) to hang up in my patients’ room. The ones we have in our unit are copies and look terrible, I’m looking to making my own very simple but something I can have on the computer and print as needed. Does anyone have documents or pictures of the ones you use at work I can see or have?
  2. Thank you everyone for your kind words, I am glad to inform you that i feel way better while i still need help in finishing up i do get more of it and i fell like i will be able to do this. I know ive made many mistakes and more to come but i am feel better about myself.

  4. Ah thank you so much just what I needed to hear right now, ive been searching for advise for anything that will keep me from going crazy at work I find it so overwhelming all the work that I have to do, I don't see how I could work any harder to be better if im not charting & filling out forms im with a patient changing them or listening to their needs trying my best to be a good nurse while still keeping up with charting, I definitely don't know it all and don't try to but im having an extremely hard time getting a hold of my workload I just don't see how I will ever finish when im on my own. I take notes listen and do but somehow I feel like its not enough to get by, I always miss some part and it just brings my attitude don and makes me feel incompetent
  5. Hi Everyone, I'm a new nurse really struggling to keep afloat. I've always been hardworking and very determined. I have always known that with determination and hard work I can achieve anything. I have now been working in the Med/Surg floor for almost 3months and while I feel like I get the vey basics of my job I Constantly miss things that are then caught by my Preceptor, I get frustrated that I myself can't get it right. I feel like I come off as a ditz which in reality I'm not. This whole hospital job is really out of my comfort zone and I've never had to work with so many different challenging personalities, and while I absolutely love my job the fact that I just can't get it right is really starting to affect me. I need some help
